4.Facing The Freak

  I am currently sitting in my working place, Kaptech corporation. My senior who is giving the new ones a lecture about how should we work. Seriously, who does that? Yesterday I reached my company apartment which is allotted to me at afternoon. I did the only thing that came to my mind after unpacking. Guess what? sleeping. I have a huge obsession with sleeping. I got up after a nap of 2 hours. It's not called nap. It is called sleeping like a lazy sloth, mocked my subconscious. Yesterday I called Rajiv, my senior who is working as manager in my Anna's company. Actually he was my senior when I was doing my M.tech , but he could not afford money for it. So I suggested my Anna's company and helped him in getting a job.

FLASHBACK

  I called Rajiv "Hello", I heard a male voice. " Hello, is this Mr Rajiv.Shetty?" I asked to confirm it's him. " Yes, may I know whom I am talking to?". Now my naughty feeling arose " You forgot me darling!" I know he will be hell shocked." Excu..." I didn't let him complete. " I know baby you must be very busy, so you didn't recognise right?" I am completely enjoying it.

 " Stop it Piya why are you behaving like this? " wait, how did he come to know that it was me. "You must be wondering how I came to know, don't work too much with your brain. Actually Vijay asked me to note your new mobile number given by you to him yesterday. So it was already there."

 Why do I have to always make fool of myself? " Oh, I need your help, please help me in finding the killer of Siya. " hearing this he did as expected. " No, you are not getting involved in this. Me and Vijay are doing it." I need to do something. " If you think that I am like your sister then help me or I won't see your face, won't talk with you and most importantly , I won't come to your marriage." Please help me I chanted this repeatedly in my mind finally I heard the sound of sighing "Fine, I will help you, but if Vijay comes to know you  are to be blamed" I did happy dance in y mind.

END OF FLASHBACK

 My train of thoughts were broken by the sound of applauding. So as a sheep in the herd I followed the same with a fake smile. "Now I would like you all to meet the CEO of the company in his cabin. You will be accompanied by Mr. Smith." by saying this he finally stopped his horrible speech. Now we are being accompanied by Mr..., Oh I forgot the name. Oh god why I need to be so careless.

  In this thought, I forgot that we are heading to CEO office and when we reached I was lost in the beauty of the office. It had a cream and black painted in all walls. The desk, dang it! if Siya would be here, she would have married that desk. What? she was not that dumb to marry a desk. I think you should consult a psychiatrist before you are finally sent to mental asylum. God my subconscious need to get a lesson so I asked her why do you go by words  understand my feeling towards that desk. Then she rolled her eyes and I blocked her views on my thoughts. Coming to interiors , I am damn sure they are not less than 1000 dollars.

 "I would request all the recruits to be patient as the CEO has not yet arrived..." before Mr... urghhh...whatever could complete his sentence a man in a suit entered the cabin with his secretary, I assumed, from a different door. Oh freakkkk... Guess what , I will be dead in few minutes. Mom, Dad, Siya I am coming..... Oh god why it had to be only him, Sam had told me to pray for god before the first day of working. But me being me, I forgot. Why it should be the man from the party whom I emptied the glass of juice.

 " Sorry for making you wait... " He noticed me and said " I am glad to have you all. My name is Varun. Kapoor and I am the CEO of this company. I wish you all the very best for your new career. You all can start the work from now on." He said this all constantly eyeing me and smirking. I gulped the saliva once he completed it  and started moving as fast as I can from the door which I entered.

 But  my luck always gives me the life that suck. I was at the door and boom... "Miss. Piya.Murthy wait and rest can move." God how did he come to know my name. Now  I am damn sure I will be dead. Please god... Please make him to forget about me and I will give you 2 candies!! As if god will listen you. Along with you I will also be dead. Even my subconscious is not supporting. I slowly turned and guess what the evil king was standing, smirking in front of me. Mr. Smith and that lady who I assumed as his secretary was standing there with frowns indicating confused state written all over their faces. Thank god at least you remembered the name of that man. Seriously, I got such bad subconscious god... That's it I can't take this anymore. " I will mail my resignation sir." I said this all composed and calm.

  He saw me like I have grown two heads and said "Mr. Smith did she not sign the contract of 3 months working in the company." Why god did this to me. I know, I have done some bad deeds but I am not to be blamed. Actually I had signed the contract with the company that I will be working here for 3 months. If any of the clause is not followed then they can send me to prison. Guess what, It did not specify that I would be working as a software developer. " She has signed it sir." said Mr. Smith with that same complete confused state.

 " You, Miss. Murthy will work as my PA from today." as soon as these word left from that bull head " What!!!" It was not only me but the lady, wow she is cute so her name will be cutie. So cutie, me and Mr. Smith all together said it. "you heard me right, and Miss.Dover please explain her work as PA. Mr. Smith you can move a head." bull head, pig head... I thought of all the ugly heads that fit him.

  "Excuse me Mr. Kapoor, I was appointed as software developer not as a bloody PA." Did I just swear. But Piya never swears. Why I did this ? " Language Miss. Murthy!" was the first thing that left his mouth. " As far as your job, be great full that you are working in this company. You should work here 3 months at any cost. If you have personnel problem, career problem... whatever problem you have, I don't care. You should work here that's it." I was at the verge of crying. No Piya, you should be strong do not loose the hope. Encouraged my subconscious. Then a thing that was stated  in contract entered my brain.

 So I am gonna implement Piya's mission of resignation. " Sir, as recruit I cannot resign but as the boss of the company, you can suspend me right?" I asked my so called boss with the little victory dance in my mind. "Are you challenging me Miss. Murthy?" He took one step in front which decreased the distance. He was very close to me which was intimidating and it almost succeeded. Note the keyword almost. Because Piya is Piya, she will never let anyone to intimate her. I moved near him and closed the distance to appear intimate "As you wish Mr. Kapoor. I Piya. Murthy, challenge you that from today there will be hell created in your life and you, yourself will fire me which leads to my freedom within these 3 months." I pointed the index finger towards him and said this. He seemed shocked and soon recomposed his arrogant, cool attitude with his smirk and said "Well, let's see whose life will be filled of tortures of hell. "

 With that he ordered cutie to explain my work and show the other floors, cafeteria etc required to my work. After saying this he dismissed both of us.
