The Unbreakable Twins

Prologue

Siya's pov
Piya: When are they going to come?!

This is the fifth time in the half an hour she is asking about my parents. Today is my parent's seventeenth anniversary. Me and my sister being fifteen wanted to surprise them by giving them some privacy. So we planned them a dinner date at a five star hotel where they first met.

Siya:Will you stop saying that. I know it's hard to stay away from them but this is only time where they can spend some time alone.
Piya: I know, but it's already nine! I don't know why I feel so uncomfortable.

I opened my mouth to speak but cut off by ringing of my phone.

Siya: Hello? Who is this?
Other side: Is this Siya. Murthy.
Siya: yes?
Other side : I am talking from city hospital, your parents met an accident. Can you come here.

Siya: Oh my god! Are they alright?
Other side: I don't know anything mam please come here and doctor will inform you everything.
Siya: Yeah!! yeah!!I'm coming.
With that I dragged my sister and went to Vijay Anna's house. He is my neighbour who is being trained as a cop. He lives with his mother and his father is no more. I explained everything and he took us to hospital. I was shocked hearing what the doctor said.

AFTER TEN YEARS

I am sitting in a cafe staring the view from the window. It's been ten years of that accident. Everything is changed. After we got into the hospital, we were informed that our parents were no more. Piya and me both cried whole night and Anna did all the rituals of my parents.

Mangala aunty ,Vijay Anna's mother took care of us like her own children.
Piya became more responsible and completed her engineering. I completed my medical. Anna served as cop for three years but something happened... and he left the job.

He started his security agency and private detective agencies which is within top ten security agencies of the India. He is married now to a Doctor Who used to be my senior in medical college.

Mangala aunty is no more. Her life was taken by cancer. She fought against it until her last breath but couldn't make it.

I miss her a lot. She was the one who inspired me and Piya to over come the tragedy.

Samantha is very cool. Yes, she is Vijay Anna's wife. Today there is a wedding  anniversary party in the hotel. It's the first wedding anniversary party of Anna and Sam. I want to give them some special gifts which I can't find even after thinking for five days and I am frustrated. I asked Piya but she being she, didn't tell me what she was buying to them.

I literally begged her to give some suggestions but she asked me to cook for whole one week which was her turn to do that.

Piya: hey!! Did you think what to do?

Siya: yeah! I thought of killing you with my hands.
I said sarcastically.
Seriously!(I shouted) Are you my sister or my enemy. Please Piya tell me what are you buying, I can't remember a single thing what they wanted. I said in a sad tone lowering my head..
Piya: tell me something different.
She said in a casual tone. Looking towards her coffee.
Siya: I have a deal for you. You give me the secret what you are buying I am ready to clean the house for 2 days of yours.
Piya: No.
Siya: 3 days.
Piya: No.
Siya: 4 days.
Piya: No.
Siya: I will cook for 3 days and clean the house for 3 days of your turn.
Piya: No!(she shouted) and stop this 3, 4, 5 etc. I have a deal for you.
She said sternly.
I was shocked seeing her like that. Never in my life saw that seriously. I didn't know that I had kept my mouth open. She held my chin and closed my mouth with her hand.

Piya: Flies will make their house in your mouth. So don't keep it open.
She said it with a smirk.

Siya: what's the deal?!!(I shouted unaware of the surrounding)
Piya:shhh!!(she whispered very harshly)
Siya: okay fine, tell me the deal. I said excitedly.
Piya: give me 5000 rupees and we will tell that we gave the gift not I. She said with a smirk.
Siya: tell me what are you buying?! I asked her excited
Piya : the deal does not tell any revealing of secret. If you want give the money or I have my ways. She said in stern tone.
Siya: fine take this. I know this stern tone of hers which definitely says that she is damn serious, so I handed her the money.
Piya : okay bye I have to shop now. She said and didn't give a second glance at me. I wonder she gets a proper gift.
Siya: bye.

Piya's pov

At last I got what I wanted. I knew that Siya is very bad at choosing a gift so I made a deal to get that money. Yeah! Yeah! I know it's not good but what can I do? I needed the money to donate it to orphanage. Mangala aunty wished that too, so I am fulfilling her wishes. Wait wait, I am not donating only 5000 to orphanage, I had collected 25000 from my part time job as a temporary librarian and I wanted it as a round figure so I cheated Siya. My plan is, I will donate that to orphanage, they will come there, give them well wishes, this is my first gift and second gift is, I have prepared a PPT of Anna and Sam's love story. I know I am very naughty but I have saved it for this day. Now I know just what to do.! I will tell that orphanage plan was of Siya which they definitely believe and PPT idea was mine.

I went orphanage and searched for savitri aunty, who is care taker of  this orphanage.

"Hey Piya, how come you are here? " aunty asked. Savitri aunty is in her late forties who has a thick black with some silver hair till her shoulder. She is wearing a pink with white bordered saree. She has some wrinkles in her face even then she looks so beautiful at her age. " Hi aunty, actually I came here to donate the amount in the name of Vijay. Shastry and his wife Samantha .Vijay Shastry."  I said her in a casual tone with a smile. " Oh! ,I forgot today is their wedding anniversary right? I will come there to personally wish them with some kids. " she said excitedly. " Yeah, this was Siya's idea to remind you and you are welcome to the party with the kids. I hope you have the invitation card of the party. " I said it so she can think that it was Siya's plan. " Yeah, I have it. Don't worry we will arrive on time." She said excitedly. I bid her the good bye and headed to home to get my video camera which has the story of Anna and Sam. Then I engaged in the preparation, in the hotel. After that me and siya went to home to get ready for the party.
