I know I haven't updated in forever! :( Like almost 2 months and I'm reaaally sorry for those who kept waiting. But I finally uploaded a new one and well I really like this. I AM GONNA TRY REALLY HARD to update once a week or regularly but I won't make promises because well, I've been busy with studying for college entrance tests and school and I've been busy with life. Thank you for your patience and understanding and I hope I get more viewers and readers! Haha, I'd love that so much!

Gah, the last paragraph seems a bit dramatic, like an ending. But it's not. Well maybe it's an ending to Devon's and Dalton's sufferings and doubts like IDK, that's how I want you guys to portray it. :) Like it's the ending of their sadness and they're gonna have a new beginning, a happier one, I'm hoping. So enjoy!! Vote and comment 'cause that would mean a lot to me! Sorry again for the reaaaally long wait.

Chapter 17

"I am so excited!" Sandra exclaims next to me.

We're in the back of Luke's car. Dalton and Luke are up front with Luke driving and we're headed to Coldplay's concert.

I look out to the window and the rain is pouring down hard on us.

"Calm your tits, Sandra." Dalton says and laughs.

"Fuck off, Dalton." She retorts, annoyed now.

"Stop being an ass, Dal." Luke scolds Dalton for pissing off his girlfriend.

"Jeez, people can't take a joke nowadays." Dalton mumbles but I hear him anyway.

We finally get to the arena. Luke parks the car and turns the engine off. We stay inside the car because it's still raining.

"Do you have an umbrella around here?" Dalton asks and starts rummaging around.

"Unfortunately, no." Luke answers and we all sigh.

"Guess we'll just have to brave the rain, girls." Dalton says and looks back at Sandra and I from the backseat.

He's freaking beautiful, like always. Blue eyes and dark hair. He's wearing a gray sweater and he looks so attractive in it.

We all scramble out of the car with Sandra squealing that her favorite top is now wet and we make our way inside. We go through the usual process of getting inside the concert grounds and get seated at the second row of seats of the VIP area.

"Damn, I can't believe it." Dalton, who's sitting next to me, speaks up. You could tell from the tone of his voice that he was happy. "Coldplay will be a few meters away from us. Thank you so much, Luke. Seriously."

"No problem, man!" Luke says. "Just don't go all mushy on me, alright?"

We're all waiting for the concert to start and I sit there quietly.

"You okay?" I look up and Dalton's staring at me, concerned.

"Yeah. Totally." I tell him.

"You've been unusually quiet." He shares his observation to me.

"So does that mean I'm talkative most of the time?" I raise my eyebrow at him questioningly.

"No! Hey, I didn't say that. Don't twist my words up, little lady!" He tells me nervously. I laugh at him and he looks at me, confused. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing." I give him a smile and shake my head.

"God, sometimes you're so weird. I always wonder what goes on in that head of yours." He mumbles.

I smirk at him and he just rolls his eyes, pissed with the fact that he didn't know what I was previously laughing at.

"Good evening, Sta. Barbara!"
