Tessa was gazing down at the computer for hours now, typing away while every once in a while taking a sip out of her coffee. In chemistry she had a five page paper to write, and surprisingly, she couldn't be more excited about it.

It was a stormy night, dark clouds rolling overhead to match the stampede of thunder and shocks of lightning. She was in her desk chair, wrapped up in a cozy light gray blanket, her black hair overflowing out of the sides.

There was a knock at her door, and she in a sweet voice, "It's open!"

In walked her father, Tony Stark. "Hey, pumpkin." He greeted with a warm smile, and she turned around, gray/blue eyes wandering to him. "Hey." She mumbled, eyes slowly dropping from how tired she was. The girl had been working on her homework ever since she got home, and it really was taking her normal energy out of her.

"Dinner's ready." Tony informed, and she nodded. "I'll be down in a minute, I just want to finish this last paragraph."

With that, her father left, closing the door gently behind him. She turned back around in her swivel chair and typed away for another three minutes, before hitting send in the corner with a satisfied smile.

Tessa stood up and stretched out her arms, yawning in the process. She then walked out of her bedroom and down the hallway, making a left turn then going down a series of stairs.

She liked living in Stark Tower since there were plenty of things to do. She could help her dad work with his suits, or help out the Avengers who dropped by every so often because they needed to lay low for a little while. She knew the complex like the back of her hand, and walked down the hallways with a gentle smile.

The girl was only three hallways away from the dining room when suddenly, the glass only a couple feet away from her shattered like glittering rain, falling onto the tile surface beneath it.

Tessa gasped and took a step back as a figure emerged from the glass in the dimmed hallway, water dripping off of its form. The person stood up straight and turned to her just as she hurled a sphere of red energy.

The person immediately cried out, signaling to her that it was a boy. She threw another sphere, whacking the boy in the head, making him fall to his knees with a grunt of agony.

Satisfied, she held the boy in place with telekinesis to ensure that he would not move. Just as she got him down, her father ran into the hallway frantically.

"Oh my god." He breathed, standing in front of the struggling boy. "Theresa, let him go." He commanded, and she gave her father a confused look, but yet still obeyed, lifting up her powers.

Tony bent down to the boy's level and put a hand on his back, helping him up. "Pete, you okay?"

She tilted her head in confusion, staring at the scene unfolding in front of her. "Do you know him?" She asked. Her father nodded quickly, pulling the boy to his feet. The boy, Pete, ripped off his mask, taking in a deep breath after.

Tessa's gray eyes stared at him, and she gently tilted her head slightly. This boy, she recognized him, and took the time to really examine him. He was in a suit that was red and blue with a spider symbol on his chest. He had short, yet slightly curly brown hair with a matching set of doe eyes. She stared at him in awe, completely mesmerized by his appearance.

The boy broke her out of her trance by saying, "Theresa Wood?" After staring for a moment more, she finally knew where she recognized him from. "Peter Parker." She stated, "Hey, you're in my chemistry."

"Move!" Peter cried, then leapt to her, arms wrapping around her stomach and knocking her backwards. She fell hard on her back, hissing in pain.

Where she just was a moment ago, the glass broke into millions of pieces. Three men in black suits soared into Stark Tower, landing on the glass.
