Mackenzie and Kolby made their way into their apartment, placing the pizzas on the coffee table, accessible to all their friends laying around the floor.  Everyone was happily munching on their slices while Mackenzie took her time just eating one.

She was hungry, but wasn't fully ready to spend her night in the bathroom.

While everyone else was still preoccupied by the television, Mackenzie was still hung up on Tony.  She sat in the middle of the couch, daydreaming about his floppy and curly mop head.  She wanted to talk to him again, even if it was just for one silly word.

She tried her best to blend in to the couch, pulling out her phone and bringing up the Domino's page.  She quickly put together an order of the cheapest item she could but also adding in something else to not seem completely idiotic.

Cheese pizza and a soda.

Mackenzie hastily hit the order button before Kolby glanced at her phone curiously.  As she noticed Mackenzie quickly lock up her phone and place it in her lap, Kolby knew something was up.

The time had gone by and their friends had made their ways back to their apartments or dorms.  Kolby didn't ask questions about Mackenzie's odd phone secrecy, not wanting to seem too nosy.  At least not until she had more evidence, such as Mackenzie receiving another phone call from a brand new contact she must've recently saved.

Tony <3

Kolby reached out before Mackenzie could, snatching her phone.

"Mack, what the hell?"

Mackenzie desperately reached for the phone, "Kolby, come on! Give it back, I need to answer!"

Kolby shook her head, hesitantly handing it back to her.  "You're literally insane, I'm going with you this time."

Mackenzie answered the phone, letting Tony know she'd be right down.

"He's not going to murder me, Kolby.  You don't have to come down with me this time."

Kolby laughed, slipping on her flip flops.  "I'm not worried about him, I'm worried you'd murder him."

They both headed down the stairs and out the front door, Mackenzie slowly becoming more giddy as they got closer.  Kolby rolled her eyes, knowing fair well that she wasn't going to get the happy ending she was planning for.  She wanted to keep Mackenzie safe from random boys, but at times, Mackenzie had a very stubborn attitude about what she wanted.  She'd go for it until it hurt her.

Kolby watched from a few feet back as Mackenzie grabbed the two bags from Tony, letting out a girly laugh and trying to shyly glance at his eyes every few seconds.  Then she spoke, "Silly me, I forgot some things in the last order."

Tony just nodded his head.  He was clearly tired and wasn't in the mood to stay and chat.  It was understandable, but to Mackenzie, it was just him playing hard to get.

"All of these pizzas aren't for me either, I'm very lactose-intolerant."

Tony raised an eyebrow at her, letting out a deep chuckle.  He shook his head, mumbling a low 'okay'.

Mackenzie still wasn't giving up, continuing to speak even though he was starting to pack back up.  "You know, we have these little movie nights and dinner parties almost every other week.  You could join if you're not busy or anything."

Tony shrugged, "It's not really my type of thing, I'll catch you around though."

With that, he got into his car and drove off.  Mackenzie was confused yet enthused that he said more than a one-worded sentence to her.

Kolby walked over, waving her hand in front of Mackenzie's face.  "Hey, you okay?"

Mackenzie nodded, "Yeah, totally."

Kolby gave Mackenzie a quick squeeze on the shoulders, "I'm sorry that didn't go the way you wanted."

Mackenzie gave her a confused glance, "What are you talking about, that was even better than I was hoping!  I mean, other than the fact that he said movies and food wasn't his thing because that's just not human.  But, he said he'll 'catch me around'.  You know what that means?"

Kolby just shrugged, not really following.  Tony just clearly declined her invitation.

"It means we'll see each other again."

Kolby shook her head, "Oh, sweetie.  We need sleep, I think we're getting a little delirious out here."
