Chapter 3: All eyes on me

Zach's POV

"I hope you have a good explanation for this Mister Quill." Madame M said as the five of us strode along the corridors of Vlad University. "Madami akong ineexpect sa'yo, valedictorian ka, you should focus on things more important." She continued, looking at Maxine and Gab with disgust.

"Um.. Madame M, Maxine and Gab needed our help, di naman po masamang tumulong diba?" I told her.

"But still, it's your first day of school, you should be heading to your class rooms." Madame M said, opening her office door. "Apparently, You three are in the same class, Oscar, lead the boy to his classroom, second floor, and Zach, go with Maxine, lead her to your classroom."

The four of us nodded. Humiwalay samin si Oscar at Gab and they headed for Gab's classroom. Habang naglalakad kami ni Maxine, I gave her a quick school tour. It was a bit awkward, with all the people staring at us, whispering stuff like "What is Zach doing with that girl?" or " Zachary Quill? With Her?" I tried my best to keep Maxine from the crowd. Obvious na uncomfortable sya.

Then two familiar girls blocked our way when we were just about to climb up the stairs. Dorothy Faith and Adela Storm. We all know Dorothy has a crush on me, in fact we've dated. (I try my best not to keep that subject up.) While Adela has a die-hard crush on Oscar, and when I say die-hard, I mean "I would die for you" kind of thing. (Ew)

"Well well, If it isn't my long lost boyfriend." Dorothy said as she planted a kiss on my cheek. I wanted to hit her with a broken flower vase.

"What the? Go away!" I said as I swatted her away from me.

"Aww, why so grumpy?" Dorothy muttered as she fixed my collar.

Maxine looked away.

"Where's my Oscar?" Patanong na sabi ni Adela habang naka pout.

"Try mo hanapin sa bulkan tapos tumalon ka na rin." Sagot ko kay Adela.

I grabbed Maxine's hand and ran up the stairs. Looking back at the shocked face of Dorothy.

Oscar's POV

"Um, hey Gab, do you think Maxine would have feelings for me?" O ayan ha kinapalan kona mukha ko.

"What?!" Said Gab in surprise.

"I mean obvious naman siguro na may feelings kami ni Zach para sa ate mo, so who do you think she'll like?" I asked.

"I don't know, but for me, I'd rather ship ate with you than with Zach." He answered

"Wow thanks, so will you help me get closer to her?" Tanong ko ulit.

"Of course." Gab nodded

"O eto na classroom mo." Sabi ko kay Gab, nasa harap kami ng
" 7 - Aphrodite".

"Aphrodite?" Tanong ni Gab, na napakamot sa batok nya.

"Oo, ang mga sections dito ay naka pangalan sa mga greek gods and goddesses." Sagot ko.

"Sa dami ba naman ng mga gods, Goddess of Beauty talaga?" Sabi na Gab habang natawa.

"Hahahaha, tiisin mo nalang, naging section ko din yan dati." Sabi ko, while patting Gab on the back.
"Sige na, punta nako sa room namen."

"Ok, salamat." Sabi ni Gab. As Oscar descended down the stairs.

Maxine's POV

Grabe kinakabahan ako. As Zach and I stopped in front of a classroom, I read "I - DEMETER". The "I" Probably stands for 1st year college.

"Ano, ready ka na?" Tanong ni Zach, holding the doorknob, his voice sounds very comforting.

"Nakaka-kaba" I said to him.

"Dont worry." Zach whispered to my ear. "You're with me"
