Ω two Ω

As the long, boring minutes of walking are passing by, Yoongi finds out Taehyung is more than a talkative Alpha.

Firstly, he is fun and makes the Omega laugh a lot, which is surprising because Yoongi rarely laughs at something so stupid. He never laughed at Jin's bad, dad jokes or when a comedy was on the television, he would stare at it blankly. He just didn't find it funny. Kim Taehyung is not only a goofball but he is also really intelligent and resourceful. He tells Yoongi about his travelling experiences and explains how to survive in the woods with most basic and easy hacks. And one more thing Yoongi realised is, Alpha likes to flirt, a lot. It's the part of his personality.

"I have one chicken wing left. We can share it." Yoongi takes the meat out of his backpack, unwrapping the hard cloth around it. Alpha and Omega are sitting on the ground, their backs touching the trunk of the tree.

Taehyung nods, accepting the meat Yoongi has held out for him. "We can go hunting later. This won't be enough." By the look Omega has given him, Alpha knows it's not the greatest idea. He takes a bite of his meat while Yoongi still stares at him with wide eyes.

"I- I've never- I don't know how- how to hunt."

Tall Alpha shakes his head, chewing. He isn't surprised by Yoongi's confession, Omegas aren't used for hunting. Though, Taehyung comes from a pack where Omegas can do whatever they want to, they can do what Alphas and Betas do. So it is unusual for him to meet an Omega who doesn't know how to hunt. "Don't worry, I'll teach you." His mouth is full and as he talks, there are pieces of food coming from his mouth. Taehyung knows it looks disgusting but what can you do, he was never well mannered anyways.

Yoongi wants to admit that the last time he actually shifted was ages ago but that would sound very fishy because the village, pack wolves shift almost every day. He stays silent and continues eating. More talking means more lies. Omega glances at the Alpha next to him who has already eaten his piece and now is humming to unfamiliar song. Taehyung seems childish and happy all the time, it is unbelievable. Yoongi has never met someone so cheerful before, not even Jin, who has a really bright personality, is close to this Alpha.

Taehyung is suddenly on his feet, gazing around before he goes down once again, his knees and hands touching the hard, dirty ground. He is on all fours now. Yoongi's eyes follow his every move, Alpha's movements are familiar to him, he is trying to shift. Taehyung closes his eyes, trying to concentrate and focus. He succeeds because seconds later, there is a big, black wolf standing in front of the Omega who is stunned. Wolf's golden eyes pierce through Yoongi's, he is waiting for me to shift .

Omega hopes it's easy as it looks like. Taehyung gives him some space and walks over to Yoongi's backpack to scent it so they could easily find it later and get back with no trouble. The pale boy does the same movements Taehyung did and he sighs, hoping not to embarrass himself. He doesn't want to look at Alpha, he can already feel him staring. With closed eyes, Yoongi tries to focus but all he can think about is the failing. You can't do it . A minute passes and nothing, Omega is still in his wolf form. Fail.

He brings his head up and looks at the wolf who is looking at him with his head tilted to the side as if he doesn't want Yoongi to give up. So the Omega tries again, again and again until finally, his mind is calm and relaxed. Suddenly the white wolf appears, fur short over his body and longer at the neck, all smooth and shiny. His ears go up out of happiness as he looks at Taehyung who is moving closer to the other. Yoongi starts moving too, his paws feel naked touching the ground.

Taehyung nuzzles his head into where Yoongi's neck should be and the Omega stiffens, Alpha is scenting him. The white wolf has never experienced scenting before. It is a private, intimate thing between the mates so Yoongi is confused why is Taehyung doing this. He takes a sniff of Alpha's scent which is really refreshing because the man smells like the nature after it rains. Yoongi himself smells like vanilla but now with Taehyung's scent all over him, the vanilla cannot be found. Alpha steps back after he licks Omega's face, the action too friendly for the two strangers who met just few hours ago.

Black wolf takes the lead, sniffing the air and trying to locate where he can hunt some good meat. Yoongi follows behind like a good, obedient puppy. His flair and hearing is stronger in the wolf form, so he is trying to make a use of it. He wants to help Taehyung and show him he isn't incapable. But Omega's wishes do not come true because the other wolf has found something.

Their bodies are moving through the trees, Yoongi's white fur and Taehyung's black fur look like the most beautiful contrast as they run through the woods. It is a magnificent sight and the Omega is really enjoying himself for the first time in his life.

A deer they are running after looks relatively young, its slim legs move quickly but not fast enough to escape the wolves. With one swift move, black wolf jumps on deer and bites on its neck. Alpha stays still for awhile, waiting for the animal under him to finally stop fighting. Yoongi stands close too, not wanting to interrupt because Alphas are usually overprotective and possessive over their hunt. Soon, the deer becomes numb under wolf's bite and Taehyung lets go.

Alpha gives Yoongi a nod, a sign that gives the Omega a permission to eat. White wolf is sceptical, he waits for the other to give him his part of the deer. The forest is silent, it's even hard to hear the birds chirping. Omega watches the Alpha who's tearing the dead deer into pieces. Taehyung raises his head up when he notices Yoongi is not eating or moving at all, wolf's muzzle is covered in blood. He realises what's wrong and takes the best part of deer in his mouth and brings it to the Omega. Taehyung nods at it as if he's telling him he needs to eat.

Yoongi learns that Kim Taehyung is not like other Alphas.

Unmated Alphas don't do things like this. They don't show affections and they aren't genuine or caring only if they are trying to court the Omega. White wolf glances at the other wolf, He can't be courting me . 'But what if' is stuck in Yoongi's mind, what if....

The darkness soon fills the forest. Alpha and Omega go back where they left Yoongi's backpack and decide they will spend their night there. The remains of poor deer are left behind and their stomachs are finally satisfied. It's been awhile since they both have eaten so good.

"You said you don't have a place to live... Why is that?" Yoongi asks, breaking the silence. His head is resting on his bag as he is laying on the ground under the tree, Taehyung few feets away from him.

Alpha hums, looking at the stars in the dark sky. "I actually have a place to live, a pack. But I like to be alone more even though it's not safe."

"Why about your mate? Doesn't-"

Taehyung chuckles, turning to look at Yoongi who is already looking at him. "I don't have anyone, as I said, I am all alone. Members of my pack would used to tell me I should just settle down. You need to find a mate , Taehyung-ah , they'd said. I didn't think having a mate was important but now..."

"But what?" Yoongi pushes. They stare at each other, waiting to see who will be the first one to break the gaze. Taehyung's features look so beautiful under the moonlight and Yoongi can't get enough of it. Alpha moves so he is now laying next to the Omega. They are facing each other, their breaths are mingled together.

"...But now I can't help but wonder."

Yoongi's breath hitched, his bright eyes are searching Taehyung's ones, looking for any sign of bluffing but he doesn't find anything. Alpha sighs sadly and Omega wants to pull him even closer to himself but he is afraid so he stays still.

"Night Yoongi." Taller man mumbles, facing away from the pale boy who says good night in return, staring at the back of Taehyung's. Yoongi, in the first time in awhile fights the sleep. The natural urge to be held by the Alpha is getting too strong. He moves closer silently and carefully so his front is now touching the other's back, his hand resting on Taehyung's arm. Yoongi knows he is awake so when Taehyung sighs in satisfaction, he can only smile.
