SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

Ω twenty Ω

It seems like a week passes until they get to Taehyung’s pack even though it only took them two days to get to the seaside. Taehyung told Jungkook and Yoongi what was bothering him, that he wasn’t sure if they or even he would be accepted into the pack.  They were confused with why would he think that. He explained that he’s been on the road almost his whole life, that his pack does not understand and does not support that lifestyle, he should’ve stayed with his pack – family. The younger Alpha and the Omega could only give him support and tell him not to worry. Anything could happen after all.

 

Standing on top of the hill, Taehyung overlooks at the small village – his pack, that is located by the calm sea. His pack is small, it consists of adults with young children and less elderly people because most of them died from a disease that hit the pack a couple of years ago. It was a difficult period for everyone. The cottages in which the people of the pack live, are scattered across the clearing. Families of five or fewer live in them, they don’t look anything special in Taehyung’s opinion, they look old and ready to fall any moment. The whole pack should be repaired and made better but then it would no longer be so special. The feeling in the village is friendly, family-like even because in reality, they are one big family. They all help each other, there is no one excluded.

 

,,Are you feeling better?” Jungkook asks Taehyung, he is standing behind him with Yoongi. The older Alpha turns towards them, all three of them look rough although the Omega tried to clean both of the Alphas and himself, with his tongue when they were still their wolf forms. It did help but they need a proper shower. 

 

,,Yeah!” Taehyung smiles and sets out to descend to the bottom of the hill where the clearing that leads them to the pack, begins. ,,I’m hoping that my brother is still the leader of the pack because we’ll have no problems then.” He thinks everyone in the pack believes in Namjoon being the best possible leader for them. No one has never tried to fight him or take him down.

 

,,Namjoon is his name, right?” Yoongi asks, he remembers when Taehyung and him first met and the Alpha talked about his brother and his mate. It was months ago but he still remembers the smile on Alpha’s face when he talked about them.

 

,,Yes, Namjoon. I can’t wait to see him.”

 

,,I think we have a problem.” Jungkook exclaims, pointing at the young male, an Alpha, that is walking towards them. They are so close to the pack and cottages now. Taehyung squints his eyes to see better but by the way the male is walking and his posture, he can recognize his own brother. He smiles widely.

 

,,You have crossed the border, I will have to ask you to leave our territory!” The young male yells out, still walking forward them. His voice is the same voice that read Taehyung’s stories before sleeping when they were younger. They were so close back then and now, when Namjoon is 25 and Taehyung 19 years old, is strange how much has changed since then.

 

,,Namjoon!” Taehyung yells out, smiling. He hears Jungkook breathing out, it seems like he was nervous about what will happen. Namjoon stops walking and places a hand on his forehead, ,,Taehyung?” He asks, not entirely sure if he is seeing right. Then when he sees Taehyung nodding his head excitedly, he starts to run towards him. His younger brother does the same.
