SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

Taehyung comes back from the hunting before Yoongi as usual. But this time, something is different when he enters their cabin, something smells different. The Alpha checks the bathroom to see if anyone expect him is in here too but, there's no one. He check the cabinets to look for the scent that is making his nose itchy and sensitive. Nothing. The sudden footsteps coming from the outside, make the Alpha snap his head towards the view of the front door. He waits and soon, the door are opening and Yoongi steps in, all smiling. And there is that awful scent again but this time, much stronger.

“Hey,” Yoongi greets him, throwing his sweater on the bed and Taehyung mumbles the greeting back, eyeing the smelly sweater on the bed.

The Omega starts talking but the Alpha doesn't listen to him, he is not able to concentrate so he starts to shuffle in his spot, “Your sweater.” He cuts Yoongi's talking off, “It smells bad.”

Yoongi hums, “Probably from the all the food today. I'll wash it.” And he walks to the bathroom, not knowing that Taehyung actually doesn't believe in the lie the Omega has just said to him. If it was the food from the restaurant that was making his nose sensitive, then why was the whole cabin smelly even before Yoongi has gotten home?

aehyung can notice something is off with Yoongi, he is acting too suspicious. First, the awful smell from yesterday and the omega sleeping so far away from him (he usually sleeps in Taehyung’s arms). And today morning, he didn't even get a goodbye kiss from the Omega. What's happening!?

The Alpha greets Hoseok who is talking with another Alpha from the hunting group. He still is getting on Beta’s nerves but they don't argue as often as they did first few days. Taehyung was ready to go on all fours and shift when a sudden, familiar smell made him stop or more specifically, yesterday's awful smell mixed with Yoongi's vanilla one.

He looks around and spots a young looking Alpha carrying a few boxes. Taehyung glares, turning to Hoseok and the Alpha. “Who's that?”

“That's Jungkookie! He delivers the animals we had hunt to the restaurant.” Hoseok tells him.

“Haven't you heard he finally decided to court the new Omega?”

“Wait what?”

“Yeah and apparently, they are quite close, if you know what I mean.”

“Hey!” Taehyung calls after Jungkook and the boy brings his head up to look at the Alpha that's making his way towards him. “Why are you smelling like my Omega?”

“ Your Omega?” The boy had audacity to smirk and by the tone of his voice, he doesn't sound guilty at all.

Taehyung glares at him and gets even closer, their chests now touching. “Yes, my Omega, you idiot.”

“As I remember, your Omega doesn't have a mating bite so he isn't exactly yours as you claim he is.” The Alpha says and Taehyung really wants to punch him, like really punch him.

Taehyung grabs Jungkook by his collar and says,  “Listen here you son of a bitch, stay away from Yoongi or I will beat the crap out of you and then you won't be looking so pretty anymore.” He lets him go and is ready to leave before Jungkook scoffs and says,

“Why should I? Aren't I the one that spent heat with him?"

Taehyung brings his hand up and is ready to pounce on the Alpha when someone grabs his raised hand and he turns around to the person in a swift moment. Hoseok is holding Taehyung in his grip, frowning. “Don't, just don't Taehyung. You will only make a fool of yourself.”

Taehyung glares at the cocky Alpha before getting out of Hoseok’s hold and making his way into the woods. He needs to calm down or he will fucking murder someone.

How dares he to touch Yoongi and how dares Yoongi to go behind Taehyung’s back to fuck another Alpha!? Taehyung scoffs, he sounds like he is actually hurt, like cares if Yoongi mates with anyone else than him! The Alpha stops walking. Fuck, he doesn't want that. He didn't think about it before but now when he is imaging Jungkook and Yoongi together, he doesn't like it, he rather hates it. The only Alpha Yoongi needs is Taehyung, only him!

The Alpha makes his way to the restaurant where Yoongi is working. He will tell him how he feels! He will-

 

Taehyung stops dead in tracks when he sees the scene in front of the restaurant. Yoongi is in Jungkook’s embrace, his head in Alpha’s neck as the other has its chin on the top of Omega’s head. Jungkook notices Taehyung and he smirks, hugging the smaller man tighter. The Alpha clenches his jaw, he will kill Jungkook, that bastard ruined everything!

But did he really? Was Jungkook the one who's fault this is? Or is it Taehyung who kept playing around and making Yoongi wait?

 

 

The older Alpha looks away.
