Chapter 11

Christina's POV

I watch as Bella closes her eyes about to sing. I wonder just how good she is. When the first few notes come out, my jaw drops. She's good! Like, really really good. Wow!

Bella: 

Phone rings

Don't wanna pick it up

I'm so scared

I tip toe around your questions

Tears fall

And the glasses break

Christina's POV

Bella finishes the song, tears keep falling as they did throughout the song. But gosh, that was so beautiful. It fits her situation. 

"That's my favourite song," she whispers.

Lisa and I run up to her and hug her tight. I can't see Lisa's face but I know I have tears in my eyes. 

"That was absolutely beautiful," I tell her. She hugs me tighter.

 After a few minutes of just hugging each other, we hear the door open and everyone running in. We all get up and walk out of the room. Mom sees us and smiles.

"Hi girls, hi Bella, how was your day?"

I see Bella grit her teeth, "Alright I guess, Mrs.Cimorelli."

Mom shoots me a glance and I give her a look back. 

"I'm gonna go ask Mom now," I whisper to Bella. She nods, looking scared.

Lisa puts her arm around Bella and they walk to the sofa. I shoot her an appreciative glance. She nods back.

"Mom, can we talk in the kitchen?" I ask.

We walk there and then she looks at me.

"What's going on Christina?"

"Long story short, Bella came here earlier and broke down crying. Her mom is abusive and today she kicked Bella out. She's homeless now and so lost. My heart is breaking for her and so is Lisa's."

"Oh my goodness! Are you asking if she could move in with us?" Mom asks.

"Yeah I am. She has nowhere else to go and she deserves to finally have a loving, caring family," I say.

"Of course the answer is yes, Christina. Go tell her and everyone else the news!"

I grin and run into the living room where Nick and Joey convinced everyone to watch the movie Cars 2. Bella takes notice of me and jumps up. I nod, still grinning. For the first time today, she smiles back. 

"So I have some big news everyone," I announce as Amy pauses the movie and everyone turns to face me, "Bella is moving in with us!"

Bella is now officially part of the Cimorelli house. I'm excited for her haha! How do you think the rest of the Cimorellis are going to react?
