Q. Asked by CrownedMadness: ' Does Papa Claus really care about Kenzie or no? I feel like he does and it's all a misunderstanding of Kenzie. Will we see 'em bonding?'
A. Papa Claus does have a sensitive side and does care for Kenzie, but he has a difficult way of showing it. He's all about tradition and keeping up with appearances, hence why he pays more attention to Nick then Kenzie. His reaction to Kenzie's question back in Chapter Two was more because he was shocked than anything else, he never expected her to want to do something that broke from tradition.
Deep down, he does care for here but struggles to show it because he's a stickler for the tradition. That's all it comes down to in the end, tradition. My plan was to have him go to the showcase but I changed my mind. As for the second part of your question, I don't know at this moment.
Q. Asked by CrownedMadness: 'Will there be a sequel? Or even better a series of Mackenzie Claus (and her friends?) adventure?'
A. I never considered making a sequel or expanding the universe beyond what we already know. However, now that it's been brought up, it would be interesting to explore Kenzie's life beyond her decision and whether or not her and her father would ever cross paths or makeup. If I can come up with an idea, then I'll look into it a little more, but as of this moment I have no plans for a sequel (this is not definite, it might change.)
