Getting a call in the middle of the night I sluggishly open my blue eyes. The girls were still asleep around me , so I hesitantly picked up the phone. Not wanting to wake them , I walked out of the room and into the hall.
Andrew was calling! Doesn't that twat remember I can't talk! I angrily pushed decline and sent him a text.
"What do you want Andrew? It's 2 am and please next time , remember I can't talk before you call me twat!" Sending the text with out another thought. I sat down pulling my knees to my chest for warmth.
Suddenly a ding sound came from the phone in my hand and the name 'Andrew' lit up the screen.
"I was hanging out with Callum and you have to hear this! Alisa is in trouble for what she did to you! Apparently you're mum and dad went to the school board and now Alisa has to not only publicly apologize but suspended from cheerleading for 4 months!!! " Reading Andrew's text in disbelief , I ran to Louis and Eleanor's room.
Knocking on the door , knowing full well I could wake up the whole building soon. The door suddenly opens revealing a tired Louis to my eyes.
"What's wrong Kenzie?" Louis say's rumbing the sleep out of his eyes.
I knew in that moment that I could finally trust him. That I could finally recognize him as family. My family! Even though I was still a bit mad they didn't tell me about this.
I opened my arms and wrapped them around him. My heart felt warm and I smiled like nothing was ever wrong.
"Oh Love , how I waited for you to hug me! Do you know how jealous I was of Harry yesterday!" Louis stated hugging me tightly to his chest.
My only response was moving my head a bit into his chest , before Eleanor came to the door.
"Louis what's going on?" Eleanor asked puzzled by us hugging at the door.
"I think our daughter is finally opening up Babe!" Louis said with a bright smile making me almost want to laugh.
"Here come in sweetie , tell us what you want to say!" Eleanor took my hand a dragged me into the big beautiful room where Katie slept undisturbed.
Eleanor handed me a dry-erase board and a black ink marker. I took them gratefully while sitting in the plush , comfortable chair next to the vanity.
Andrew told me what you both did for me at school! I am so grateful to have you both in my life and I realize I can trust you now. Please tell me next time you're going to do something though...
Eleanor's eyes glossed over while reading and hugged me right away. Louis on the other hand had the biggest smile I have ever seen him have and walked proudly out of the room.
"Oh what could he be doing now?" Eleanor said playfully while rolling her eyes.
Seconds later I heard Louis screaming in Harry's room.
"SHE TRUST ME!!"
Eleanor started laughing and I couldn't help but smile at the fact he's going to wake everyone up. I gave Eleanor a hug , before walking over to Katie and tucking her in. Katie always seems to knock the covers off her.
"You are such a good sister!" Eleanor said happily . That statement only brought me sorrow. It only reminded me off the past.
I look to the floor seeing the vivid memories coming to life right in front of my eyes.
-Flash Back-
"Mommy! I'm tired!" A little girl with long black hair stated.
"Well then go to you're room and sleep silly." A woman with a bight smile said playfully.
"Mommy I'm To Tired To Walk!" The little girl exclaimed throwing her head back in the chair.
"Well my body isn't strong enough to carry you after having three kids sweetie." The woman said patting the little girls head while laughing.
"Mckenzie , can you carry me?" The little girl said with excitement
"Ugh , get on!" I said moving down to the ground for her to get on my back.
"Yay! Mckenzie to the rescue again!" The little girl chirped before climbing on my back.
"Mckenzie you are such a great sister!" The woman said happily with approval.
"Hey! What about me mommy?" The little girl exclaimed.
- End Of Flash Back-
"Mckenzie are you alright?" Eleanor said leaning over me with worry.
I quickly moved away , still shocked that I came back already. Looking up at Eleanor I smiled briefly , before heading back to my room. Needing to sleep off the memories.
Passing Louis in the hall with him hugging Harry and crying tears of joy. I smiled a bit at the scene , even though he's a twat . Louis is a good father. Hopefully one day I can open up to him completely.
Once in my room I worked my way around the bodies of girls lying on the floor covered by blankets and pillows. In my bed i decided to add a thought to my diary , so i reached for my journal.
Dear Diary ,
I have decided .
I am going to try my hardest to open up to these new people around me!
I will no longer let my past get in the way of my future , because everything happens for a reason right? At least that's what my mum taught me growing up .
Everything will work it slef out , at least I'm hoping.
