Chapter Three - First Family Dinner

I woke up to a something or someone jumping on my stomach making the bed creak . Opening my eyes reluctantly I see brown hair and green eyes , my eyes grow wide and hug the little boy on top of me confused . I hear people by the doorway and look to see the couple from last night and the four guys with Lucas and Katie ?

"Mckenzie , our new parents adopted you too !" Katie says jumping

I just sit there with Leo in my arms to shocked to move

"Well don't just sit there love , we have to move you into you're new home ." Louis says pulling out my clothes from under the bed and stuffing them in a bag

"Yeah , we got to move in last night haha" Lucas says jumping on me

I just shake my head and pull the bag from Louis hands and dump out the clothes that were in there . I stood there with everybody watching me with wide eyes , I ran past them , out of that room and downstairs . I couldn't leave and I didn't want to leave , other kids need me and I wasn't about to abandon them here with no one to take them to the other orphanage safely and Jemima was still sick and needed her medicine , I needed to stay here and protect her as long as I could .

"Mckenzie what's wrong?" Jemima asks as I run into her room tears running down my cheeks

I fall to my knees next to her bed and let my silent tears fall

"Did you get adopted ?"

I shake my head yes

"Well i don't see why that's such a bad thing "

I huff at her joking attitude and just look at the floor

"One of these days you're going to have to let yourself be loved ."

I shake my head no over and over again

"I can take care of myself here and Phil is still here to take kids over ."

I look up at her sadly

"We will be okay Mckenzie , just let this family take care of you ."

I stand up wiping my tears and hug her small figure goodbye . I really cared about Jemima and all the other kids in the orphanage , the ones who will probably never get out untill they are old enough by state of law . I was going to be one of those kids in just two years , I was going to take jemima away and make sure she got hospital attention twenty four / seven .

"Yay! Does that mean you're ready to come with us ?" Louis asks behind me

I turn around irritated and glare at him in the eyes .

"We packed you're bags love " Eleanor said coming walking up to me

I put on an emotionless face and walk to the curly haired guy holding my bag and yanked it from his hands .

" Love you're quite rude ." The guy stated looking at me

I walk past him without a care in the world and take hold of Leos hand .

"Kids how about we go home now ?" Eleanor said walking to the front foyer

"Yay! Mckenzie you're going to love our house and our room! " katie says walking close to me

I further my eyebrows together confused .

"How about we leave that for Mckenzie to discover ?" A guy with black hair and tan skin said

"Oh okay " Katie mumbled

The whole ride to Louis and Eleanor's house was extraordinarily uncomfortable in silence as I was between two guys who introduced as 'uncle' Liam and 'uncle' Niall . I heard Katie having fun playing tic-tac-toe with 'uncle' Zayn in the seats behind us , while 'uncle' Harry was busy already trying to corrupt Leo and Lucas's minds with his cheeky perverted ways .

When the car stoped I hoped out not expecting to see and three story house with a huge garden and yards of land . My staring was cut short by a happy Louis dragging me into the house - no mansion before me , the living room was huge and had a airy feeling to it . I wandered to the kitchen where all the windows were open letting in loads of light , I noticed that each room I entered had a classic style almost like it was from a magazine .

I ran upstairs not waiting for the others wanting to know where my room is excitingly , I was on the second floor and I could hear footsteps come up the stairs after me . Liam was there smiling quite happily before pointing to the next set of stairs that lead to the third floor i'm guessing , I run over to them trying not to fall being the clumsy person i am . I see lots of rooms in front of me and begin looking through each one , most of them were empty but I came around one with two beds that had surperman and batman on them with the walls painted a light blue and green color , that must be the boys room .

Another room had exercise equipment and yoga mats , something I always wanted to try was yoga , but always seemed something old and rich people do . The next room had a stylish bunk bed the top one having red bedsheets and the bottom a hot pink color , yes my room . I noticed the walls were a color in between red and pink with multiple posters on the wall of Louis and the other four boys and some of a band called 'Little Mix' and a guy 'Ed Sheeran' .

Our room was stored with the coolest style of everything , I was surprised that they would actually do this for someone like me . As soon as I felt loved I let that thought leave my head instantly and began to torture myself for thinking that way .

"What's wrong Mckenzie ? Do you not like the room ?" Eleanor asked trying to hug me but I pulled away

"Katie said you liked the color red , maybe I went to overboard with the girly side ."

I shake my head and climb up to my top bed looking at the ceiling .

"Um , well you missed lunch with us seeing as we adopted you late in the afternoon , but dinner will be at eight we would love it if you joined us ." she said walking out

I lay there when I remember I was still wearing the clothes from yesterday , I unzipped my my bag and pulled out some purple skinny jeans, a white ruffle blouse and some white toms . Walking into the adjoined bathroom I was even more amazed at the fully supplied make up and hair care / equipment storage . Getting dressed I decide to brush my hair and add some lip gloss since I have never used make -up in my life I really had no use for the other things .

Dinner time came and I walked down staires to see everyone starting to sit down and get plates of delicious looking food .

"Don't just stare love , come eat " Harry said sliding a chair out

Walking over I took a seat and started to place things on my empty plate .

"Woah sweety , I eat a lot to so some save me extras " Niall said laughing

I just smirk and place more chicken on my plate.

"Louis she's being sassy !" Niall wines fake crying

"Leprechaun I don't think that's sassy , I think that's called irritating you " Louis response eating some bread

Niall just glares at me and takes some chicken of my plate , while I glare back and take his chocolate pie .

Dear Diary ,

My first family Dinner ? Well I wouldn't call me part of the family , but it was really amazing . The whole time people were laughing and talking . Me ? well I just enjoyed watching and eating listening to there weird but enjoyable conversations .

A part of me in still with the orphanage and is the past six years ago , something I can never let go and don't plan to .
