Cursing and some Michael being a nerd
Jeremy sighed tiredly, looking up at Micheal and yawning.
"Why did you call me here at 11pm Micheal? I was asleep." Asleep he was. He had gotten into bed at 10pm and had fallen asleep, just to be woken up by his phone ringing and a very excited Micheal demanding him to come over at once. So in his pj's and all, he got up to go see what the hell he wanted.
Micheal had this huge grin on his face. The same grin he wears when he beats a level that took him forever on a video game, or when he talks about something that made him extremely happy. Like retro games, or 90s soft drinks.
Micheal wasn't saying anything, he just stood there grinning like the entire world had just changed and he suddenly loved his life. Jeremy just raised an eyebrow at him. He wasn't in the mood for Micheal's random excitement periods right now. Not when he had a test tomorrow AND Micheal woke him up.
"Micheal-" he started, but was cut off when Micheal grabbed his hand and yanked him into the house. Jeremy yelped, not expecting the sudden movement as he was pulled by his best friend through the hall, up the stairs, (Jeremy almost tripped several times, mind you) and into Micheal's room. Micheal slammed the door behind them and spun to face Jeremy, still wearing that fucking grin.
"Wanna know why I woke you up at 11pm?" Of fucking corse, that's what Jeremy's been wondering for the past 8 minutes he's been standing outside his friends door at the goddamned hour. It was a school night.
Jeremy just raised his eyebrow again, huffing slightly in annoyance and gesturing for Micheal to continue. Micheal ignored his huff, and walked over to the light switch, flicking it off.
"What the hell Micheal?" Jeremy demanded. He was full out annoyed with his friend now. He was tired, and confused, and it was to late for this. Micheal ignored him once more and jumped in place.
There was a soft thud of him hitting the floor, then the dark room was filled with multi shifting light. Yellow to green to blue to purple. Shifting smoothly from color to color, every color Jeremy could think of. Jeremy's eyes landed on Micheal's shoes.
"Woah. You got light up shoes?" Jeremy looked up to meet Micheal's now visible eyes in the faint light, reflecting the colors off them with that same grin plastered on his face.
"Awesome right?" Micheal beamed, bouncing around the room now, around Jeremy and in circles, spinning and showing off. He then spun the wrong way, lost his balance and crashed to the floor, Landing on a surprisingly well placed bean bag.
Jeremy chuckled slightly and yawned again.
"And you woke me up, for this?" Micheal nodded, still grinning even tho he had just fallen.
"I fell for you too. Does that count?" Jeremy rolled his eyes and made his way to Micheal's bed, laying down and crawling under the covers. "What are you doing?" Said the voice from the floor.
"Sleeping. Might as well sleep here tonight since some crazy person forced me out of my bed at 11pm to come see his fucking light up shoes that couldn't wait till morning." Jeremy was annoyed, but he was smiling anyway. He heard Micheal's soft chuckle then some shuffling indicating Micheal was taking off his shoes to get ready to sleep too.
A few moments later the bed shifted with Micheal's weight on it as he laid down next to Jeremy. Jeremy curled into him, sighing contently as Micheal wrapped an arm around him. Neither of them said anything, they just enjoyed each other.
"Goodnight jer." Micheal spoke softly into the quiet room, but Jeremy had already fallen asleep.
Welp. Hope you enjoyed that. Welcome to my new one shot book. Leave suggestions if you will, they are greatly appreciated! I just had this idea of what it would be like if Micheal got light up LED shoes. And this happened. See ya new week. 😊
