"Welcome Jason, Pauline, I do hope the two of you enjoyed your honeymoon .", said Michael, "And of course you Pauline, are as lovely as ever." He then bent down to take her hand, and kissed the back of it. As he slowly began to to stand up straight again, his lustful eyes were gazed upon her. She felt uncomfortable, and started too feel as though being there was a bad mistake.

"Thank you, Michael.", she said with a nervous smile. Michael then turned to face his brother, Jason.

"You're a lucky man Jason.", said Michael smiling, "I'm happy for the both of you."

"Thank you Michael.", replied Jason. He was a bit skeptical of his brother's sincerity, he knew that Michael had feelings for Pauline, and that he had been disappointed that she chose him over Michael.

"Well.", Michael began, "I hope you two are hungry. I have an amazing dinner planned for this evening. Shall we make are way to the dining room?" As they made their through the foyer. Pauline kept looking around the massive mansion. The Winworth's were a wealthy family that emigrated from England to the America in 1730, just eighty eight years prior.

Their Great Great Grandfather was an extremely wealthy entrepreneur, and decided to expand his enterprise to the "new world". The untapped agriculture provided new resources that helped his businesses to flourish. When he moved his Immediate family from England to the colonies, most thought he as taking too much of a gamble. However his instincts were correct, and the family's weath grew immensely.

After a few years, the massive Winworth manor had been completed, and was a symbol of the family's opulence. It had survived both the American Revolution, and the War of 1812. It was always a reminder of how powerful the Winworth family had become.

The three of them made their way into the dinning room, while the servents started to bring out the first course. Jason felt uneasy as he noticed that Michael couldn't keep his eyes off of Pauline.

"So Jason, Pauline, when are the two of you going to be moving in here?", asked Michael.

"Actually Michael.", Jason began, "Pauline's father has offered us a cottage on his estate. It's smaller than here, but more than ample room for a newlywed couple."

"Really?", asked Michael, "This is your home , as well as your birth right, I would think you would want live here. Don't you think Pauline deserves the best?"

"Of course I do.", replied Jason, "It's just that this place means more to you than me, and we would like to have a place of our own."

"The entire east wing is more than ample size for the two of you. We would probably only see one another at mealtimes, even if that.", said Michael, "I'm sure if father wre alive were, he would want you live in the home that is also your birthright."

"I just think it would be better if Pauline, and I, had a place of our own.", Jason replied, "Besides, I'm sure you'll find a wife soon. She may not want to live with her brother's family."

"Of course.", replied Michael, "If that is what the two of you truly want, who am I to argue. Just always remember brother, this is also your home, you are free to live here if the two of you ever change your minds." After dinner the servents cleared the table, and finished cleaning up the dining room."

"Helga.", said Michael, "I would like to spend alone time with my brother, and sister-in-law. You and the other servents can take the rest are free to leave." Helga, and the rest of the staff, were pleasantly surprised. They were used to Michael constantly demanding their services. They then retired to their quarters. The servants quarters were not part of the manor, but a separate building on the estate.
