A year had past since the the Gilmore/Winworth Mystery, as it was now being called. The entire town made national headlines, and even the Pentagon and CIA sent some investigators. This was because they were worried about the force field, the disappearance of the manor, and the four unexplained death. It had them worried abou the possibility of some technologically advanced, type of weapons. Still no evidence was found. The forensic didn't offer many answers either. Eric was sure that Sarah's blood would also be found on dagger, but only Jonathan's was found. What little DNA they got from Sarah's rape kit confirmed that her attacker was indeed, Alex Nelson. Sarah was still missing without any evidence of murder. The bloodhounds seemed to have no idea where to even look for her.
The area, now the big hole, was excavated. Yet there was no sign of a home, let alone an entire manor, ever being there, Sarah's body was never found. Most of the town believed that Michael had abducted her. Then took her, and the manor to some different realm of existence. Just as Robert said it happened.
The Pope himself, had inquired about the dagger. He wanted it hidden in a vault somewhere, in the Vatican. They were afaid of how dangerous it was. Apparently it was made of silver. In fact some believed that it had actually been forged, from the thirty pieces of silver that Judas received for betraying Jesus. However this only made the dagger more enticing. With the dagger being on display at the museum, it was now part of a new tourist attraction.
For just fifty dollars, a person could get the entire paranormal tour. Starting out at Jonathan Gilmore's house where the strange murders, of the three convicts took place. Then to the city park where Todd Miller had mysteriously died. The trip to the museum, to see the dagger. Then the final stop, to see big hole in the ground. As Eric ate at he town's only burger place, he was just amazed by it all.
"Fifty dollars to see a damn hole in the ground?", he thought, "You gotta be kidding me." As he was finishing his lunch, he saw a you woman walk by the restaurant. She had red hair, and a similar build to Sarah.
"No, it couldn't be.", he thought. But he threw a twenty on the table, and ran out of the restaurant. He looked around, but all he could see was a crowd of people.
"Sarah!", he called. The wall of people in front of parted, and he saw her again. She turned around, but only enough where he could see half of her face.
"Sarah!", he called again. This time she turned her head away from, and kept walking. He kept calling her name, but more, and more people kept getting in his way. Then all of a sudden, the crowd disappeared. She was standing in front of the hole, where the manor had been. Her back was to him, and he couldn't see her face,
"Sarah!", he yelled, "Sarah get away from there!"
"I can't.", she replied, sounding monotone, and still facing away from him, "This is where I belong, and it's all your fault. You didn't believe me, and now I'm trapped here forever."
"Sarah, sweetheart!", he began, "Step away from there, and give me you hand. Let me help you now."
"Why didn't you believe me?", she replied, "Why couldn't you save me? Why can't you find me?"
"Sarah.", he replied, "I believe you, I can save you, and I've found you."
"No." She said, "You haven't found me." She then quickly turned around. To his shock, he saw Erica's face instead.
"You can't save me, Dad!", replied Erica, "It's too late." With that, she feel backwards in to the hole. He tried to grab her, but he wasn't fast enough.
