It was 10:30 and Jo'Siah still wasn't here to pick me up, Damian got out early so I was stuck here.
I called Jo at least 50 times, he did not answer not once. I tried one more time, he finally picked up.
"Hello...?" he sounded like he was sleep. "JO'SIAH LAMONT THOMAS, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR DAMN MIND?!" I literally screamed into the phone.
"Oh shit!" is all I heard before the phone hung up.
20 minutes later he pulled up, I got in the car, slammed my door and didn't even speak to him. He kept poking my cheek trying to get my attention but I was pissed.
"Best friend? Bestie? Mari? Bestfriendddddd?" the way he dragged the D made me chuckle a little, I turned to him.
"What Jo'Siah?" I only use his full name when im mad so he knew what was up.
"I got you something?" he rumbled around in a bag before pulling out some Panda Express. He smiled, "Do you forgive me?"
I smirked and grabbed the food to eat. "yes best friend, I do! you got my fav!" he is so amazing and knew exactly how to cheer me up.
Jo'Siah's POV
I knew I fucked up when I was late picking up Mari, but she loves food so I knew that would cheer her up.
We got back to the house and she was rather quiet.
"Whats the matter?" I turned to her, she had tears in her eyes. She gave me her phone and said unlock it.

I locked her phone back up and we just sat in silence, I had no idea what to say to her but I knew for a fact that if Damian was fucking around on her, I was fucking his ass up off bells.
Mariana's POV
I grabbed my shit and stormed in the house, I threw my shit down to call Damian. He answered on the third ring.
"You tryna play me like some type of hoe huh?" I scolded his ass.
"Mari the fuck you talking about bro?" he yelled.
"don't bro me bitch, who number is 5523422 Damian?"
"bitch what yo fucking mouth talking to me for you end up like last time" after he said that, I just hung up, as upset as I was I didn't wanna end up like before.
I plopped my head down, put a pillow over my head and cried. Jo must of heard me, and came in to check on me.
"just. go. away." I said in between cries. He sat me up and wiped my tears. "Best friend he not worth crying over, you stronger than this, stop it"
"Jo I love him" I said honestly.
"but does he love you?" Jo got up and was about to walk out, "think about that Mari, im going to bed, call me over if you need me" with that he turned off my light and went to bed.
Jo'Siah's POV
I walked to my room to go to sleep but honestly I hate seeing Mari like this. I wanted to comfort her and let her know it'll be okay, but I done tried too many times for her to see Damian for what he really is, if she wanna be blind then i can't do anything about it.
I loved Mari, but she was fucking hardheaded. Since the day we met, she always been.

Me and Mari moved in together just last year, her parents died in a car crash two years before that, and I didn't want her to be alone, her older sister went off to college across the country so I'm the only one she got here.
I never really had any family tbh, my mom gave me up for adoption when i was 2 and I never knew my father, she was the only family I've ever had, and I'm glad she was in my life.

Mari walked in my room about 20 minutes after I left hers. She came in, laid me down on the bed and got on top of me, kissing me passionately. I had no idea what was going on but for some reason I didn't want it to stop.
I found myself kissing her back, locking my fingers in her hair. Her kiss was so powerful, so meaningful and full of emotion. I gripped my hands on her hips and things started to get intense, she stopped kissing me, looked at me deep in my eyes and said "Jo'Siah, I love you and I want you forever" she smiled and began to kiss me again.
As soon as I was about to move things further along, I heard my alarm go off which was weird cause it was like 2 in the morning, so I thought, I looked over my shoulder, than back to what I thought was Mari but she wasn't there, I sat up in my bed only to find out, I just had dreamt that entire thing.
What in the actual fuck?
