Unwanted feelings or just plain unwanted
The feeling is by far, mutual
And it's amazing how cruel
Someone can act without even realising
Or merely theorising
That their very actions are selfish
Giving you that ray of hope
Then leaving you in the shadow when they feel it most
The unwantedness gathers and seeps from their pores
Loving you then discarding you as their emptiness explores
You wish it different but are left out in the cold
Shadowing the very essence of isolation in amongst the crowd
Never uttering a word of your distress
Fearing the words to be spoken more than your temporary loneliness
