Opportunities are being lunged - or am I being lured?
I am wary and excited all at the same time
Finally I can say this is something I deserve
But on the other hand I am quietly scared of wanting it all too much
Wanting and hoping, my mind wonders
It dreams and wishes for the best but I am reluctant to invest my whole self
Terrified of loss, of endless rejection
Because in this day and age, others choose your fortune
So it is now about grabbing your dreams in your own hands and creating opportunities for yourself
If you don't try - you will never even have the chance to succeed
The positive mantra you chant in the hope a blessing with ignite
The fire - the destiny - it burns bright but only you hold the treacherous wind back
Only you hold the match, the wind and the ability to end it all
