I belong to the sea and to the waves
To the luring currents and the deepest caves
I'm lost in the bellowing wind and the grainy sand
I'm just not meant to settle on this foreign landThe sun touching my skin and the salt drying on my face
This is my sanctuary, my only safe place
Sitting on the rocks, looking out at the sunset
Wishing to stay, a promise I've never keptI'll return one day, I'll buy that one way ticket
Until then my memories are my only snippet
Of my dream, my forgotten home
Where my heart is carved into the stone
