Johanna's P*O*V

I really don't get why this girl was being so mean to me. I was only trying to be friendly. Every time I'd try to talk to her, she'd always give me an attitude as if I'd did something to her. The look she would give me, as if I was a piece of gum at the bottom of her shoe. I was trying not to let it bother me, but it was something I couldn't let slip by. I had to confront her and ask her what's her problem with me, and how can I help her to overcome it or get over the situation. I mean , this if life, people are gonna hate you regardless of whether or not you're a good person. I knew that I shouldn't care who liked me and who didn't, but I just knew deep down inside, this girl had something she needed to say to me, and I was destined to find out what it was.

"You okay?" Gabby asked biting into her sandwich.
"Why?"
"I mean you look like something was on your mind," she told me. Something was on my mind. Jada. I just wanted to know why she hated me so much. I could see her across the cafeteria alongside two other people. They were the only people I'd see her with. I wondered why she would seclude her self from everyone else, so I asked Gabby about it.
"What's up with that Jada girl?"
"Who?" A confused look spread across her face.
"Jada from our English class," I tried to remind her.
"You mean that dweeb over there?" She nudged her head in Jada's direction.
"Why are you calling her a dweeb?" I was curious.
"Because she is, her and her other two weird ass friends" Reagan joined in.
"Yeah , no one talks to them, that's why they're always by their selves" Gabby enlightened me.
"But why? Did you guys try to get to know them?"
Both Reagan and Gabby laughed at my question. I didn't get what was funny. I guessed my straight face told them that I really wanted to know.
"If you're so curious, we just find them to be weird, and we don't talk to weirdos" Reagan said.
"Right" Gabby agreed with him. She turned to him and smiled and planted a peck on his lips.
Well I didn't want to judge a book by a cover, and I was not gonna label Jada as a weirdo based of both Gabby's and Reagan's opinion. I wanted to get to know her. I made the decision that I was going to.
"I gotta go" I told Gabby and Reagan, and I got up and left the table.

I awaited for Jada at her locker. I know she wasn't expecting me, neither did I know how this would turn out, but I wanted to know what was her problem. I noticed her coming towards me. She was so cute, that puff in her hair made her look like a baby, I didn't get why she had to be so mean. She noticed me standing at her locker and quickly made her way over to me.
"Why are you here?" She seemed tense.
"I want to know why you hate me so much?" My question gave her a blank expression.
"Why do you care?" She eyed me.
"Because I wanna know what did I do to you to deserve it. I couldn't have done anything to you, I don't even know you" I sighed.
"Well if thats the case, why is it so important to you whether or not I like you? If you don't know me it shouldn't bother you. So leave" she spoke boldly. I could feel my blood boiling. I was getting upset at this point. She was really pissing me off with her attitude. Maybe that's why no one talked to her, because every time someone tried, she'd talk to them like a dog.
"You know you don't always have to be such a bitch!" I shouted at her just before turning and walking away.
"Johanna wait!" I heard her scream.
I stopped and turned back to face her.
"What?" I said angrily. I know she noticed the change in my tone.
"Can we talk after school?" She asked.
"Why can't you tell me now?" I was being impatient.
"I'd rather talk after school"
"Whatever, " I agreed and then walked away from her.
