Jack's POV

Ramirez: Everyone alright. Where did that come from?

Moments ago there was just a huge earthquake. Everyone was holding to pillars, lying on the floor and covering their heads, but gladly no debris fell from the ceiling. I was wandering myself how I survived after what happened. But what happened to Ace and Stephen. I should go and get them.

Jack: We should find Ace and Stephen. They might be up in the arcade.
Shina: It might be dangerous to go right now. There might be loose parts of the ceiling that might fall onto you.
Jack: If we don't go now, they might be in trouble
Ramirez: Chill. Don't worry. They can take care of themselves.
Jack: But...... Fine, let's at least get out if this line first. Im getting a bit claustrophobic.

We all went out of the line for the tickets. Suddenly, there are explosions to be heard from outside of the mall and screaming to be heard thought the mall.

Louise: What's happening?! Is there something happening outside?
Ramirez: Maybe a terrorist attack. If it is, we need to get going, now
Jack: We need to get Ace first.
Ramirez: How many times do we have to tell you that they can handle it by themselves
Jack: And who are you to say that they are fine. Your not friends with them for 6 years. How can you possibly know?
Shina: Come on guys! This is not the time to fight. Jack is right. We need to go and look for them but not through that route. It's too dangerous to go near the entrance if it's terrorism.
Ramirez: Fine. Let's go to a route where we can possibly meet them. And you, watch what your doing. Your lucky I'm in a good mood. Let's go
Jack: Tch!

I was pissed like hell but even though, I tried to stay composed because I know I have no right to judge someone I just met hours ago.We ran to the plaza of the mall to see if Stephen and Ace was there, but instead we were stopped at the entrance by something large and black

Ramirez: What the hell is that?
???: Hey don't just stand there! Hide!

There was a familiar voice that called out to us but I was to dazed to even respond to his warning. I hear the others calling out to me but I was paralyzed because of fear of what I saw. The things I saw the the rest didn't notice was the numerous corpses and body parts at the plaza and its entrance. I was too dazed that my body failed to respond and it was too late, the black thing already noticed me.

Black, large figure: GGGGGGGRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH !!!

And I realized that we're going to die

Ace's POV

I ran and ran but I can't outrun the black, tall figure. It kept screaming and screaming until my ears bled, literally. I couldn't hear that much now but I still hear it shrieking. I ran nearly a whole lap around the mall. I lead it to a different part of the mall cause I thought it wouldn't follow me if I would go somewhere with a lower ceiling but it crawled very fast. It felt I was chased by a taller version of Sadako from the movie "The Ring" but without the hair

Ace: Why won't you stop chasing me?
Black Figure: FFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!
Ace: Fuck! Curse my cardio. I need a weapon.

While I was being chased, I see a sports store up ahead where there was miraculously a bat outside its window. I swiftly grabbed it and stopped to smack the thing. Instead of smashing its face, the bat got broken in half. It was ineffective to any weapons and it got provoked so I started to run again

Ace: Shit! Why didn't it work?
???: *growls*

I heard a growl but I didn't know where it is from. Suddenly a large beast leaped and landed in front of me. Luckily there was another way to go to but both monsters followed me. I looked back and saw the tall promiscuous figure suddenly made its fingers sharp and it stretched it to try and impale me with some of them. Some of its spear-like fingers bounced off the walls and floor to redirect to me. I luckily doged them but unfortunately I reached a dead end
