It was the middle of July and Michael was laying on his bed. He was really sad and tired. Everybody was having a good time, going to the beach, meeting with their friends and just enjoying their summer. The last one before senior year but he is closed in his room, thinking of her.

Elizabeth. She insisted that everybody should call her Liz but Michael liked Elizabeth better. He felt like it suited her better. Michael couldn't stop thinking about her. At the end of this year he was determined he would forget about her. That he would meet some new awesome girl and forget about the one who didn't even know he existed outside of Math class.

A thought flushed in his head and he abruptly got up and went towards his desk where his phone laid untouched for days. He decided it's time for Elizabeth to know how he feels. He decided he will tell her everything.

He would write everything.

He had already started writing the message when he changed his mind. Telling her he was in love with her through a text seemed stupid. Not romantic at all. He tossed his phone on the bed angrily that his idea turned against him.

"Michael!" he heard his sister yell from downstairs.

"What?" he was so annoyed. She kept bringing her friends home and they would occupy the living room and the kitchen all the time; leaving him closed in his room.

"We're watching Letters to Juliet so don't come down"

"Like I would" he mumbled and shook his head. An idea re-appeared in his mind. Maybe that was stupid but what could he lose? Nothing.

So Michael took a paper and a pen and started writing everything he wanted; everything he felt.

"Dear Elizabeth...

i know it's small but think of it as a prologue??? maybe?? yeah?
