I woke up. There was talking in the other room. I got up out of my bed. Dad opened my door. He looked worried. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Follow me" he said walking to his office. I followed worried. Grandpa was in there waiting along with Uncle Ares. "What's going on?" I asked. "We have bad news. God has declared war on the demon realm." Grandpa said. I froze. "Why?" I asked. "He wants to get rid of demons." Dad said. "Isn't there supposed to be a balance between light and dark?" I asked. "Apperently we don't apply to the balance." Uncle Ares said. I clenched my fist. "Of course. Cause we're demons everyone is supposed to hate us cause 'we're evil'. If only they got to know us.." I said. "Sadly we can't change that now. Besides when up in the mortal realm we are not supposed to let people know we are demons." Dad said. "That'll attract unwanted attention from churches" Grandpa said. I thought. "Amber, I need to know if you can handle controlling the army in war." Dad said. I nodded. "All of us of course will be helping. Mainly I'm just concerned on you fighting in the war." He said. "I'll be fine father" I said. "You're first assignment is to go to the mortal realm." Grandpa said. I nodded. "What do I need to do up there?" I asked. "You have to scout the area. If u find any angels just text me and I'll give you instructions." Dad said. "How long you want me up there?" I asked. "A month. If need be more or less." He said. "Where would I be staying?" I asked. "At a old friend's house. Remember Daniel and Colin?" He said. "Heck yeah. They're like my brothers." I said. "You'll be staying with them and their family." He said. "Sweet" I said. "Go get ready." Grandpa said. I nodded and ran to my room.
Satan's p.o.v
Amber ran off. I sighed. Zeus put his hand on my shoulder. "Your doing the right thing. She needs experience in the field. This is a less dangerous way." He said. "Still dangerous. But not as dangerous as going into battle. But I know she'll be doing that one day." I said. Zeus nodded.
