Chapter 2

A few weeks later, I was brainstorming YouTube ideas when my phone went off.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi is this Katherine Posey?"

"Yes." I replied.

"Well I'm calling on behalf of Marvel to inform you that you got the part!" She said.

"Oh my god. Thank you so much." I said.

After getting more information on when filming for me would start, I hung up the phone and called up Tom.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey Tom, it's Katie."

"Katie hi. What's up?"

"Did you hear anything about if you got the part or not?"

"Actually my brother just told me. Apparently they posted it on social media. I got the part."

"Congratulations Tom. I'm so happy for you."

"How about you Katie?"

"I got the part!"

"Well it looks like we'll be working together then."

"It looks so."

"Well I got to go Katie but it was good to hear from you. I'll see you in a few weeks."

"You too Tom. Bye."

I hung up the phone and ran out of the room.

"I got the part!" I yelled.

Suddenly I was tackled by three guys onto the floor.

"You did?!" They all asked at once.

"Yup."

"I'm so proud of you." said Ty.

"Thanks bro."

"We need to get the rest of the gang together to celebrate." said Tyler.

"You're right." said Ty running to get his phone.

"Do we want to go out or stay in?" Ty asked.

"Stay in. It's Katie's celebration and we won't get bombarded with paparazzi that way." said Dylan.

"Alright." Ty said calling everyone on the phone.

A few hours later, all of our friends were at our apartment.

"I hope you know Katie that we're going on a shopping spree soon." Holland said coming to stand by me.

"Of course Holls."

"Pizza's here!" yelled Dylan S.

"Yay!" I said running towards the door, tackling him for the pizza.

"Chill girl, you'll get pizza."

"Fine." I said getting off of him.

Once we were all gathered in the living room eating pizza, Ty looked at me.

"So did that guy you met get the part?"

"What guy?!" Everyone asked dropping their pizza.

"His name's Tom and I met him when I auditioned. And yes, he did get the part."

"Who's this guy? I'm searching him up." said Dylan.

"I don't know his last name." I replied trying to get the laptop from him.

"Aha I found him. His name is Tom Holland. He's playing Spider-Man."

"He's playing Spider-Man?!" I replied. I love Spider-Man. He's been my favorite superhero since I was little.

"Yup. Awww does someone have a crush?" Ty asked.

"Maybe." I mumbled.

"Wait what?" Ty asked. "I was just joking."

"I said maybe Ty, chill."

After a few more hours, everyone left and I headed to my room. I started filming in a week and I couldn't wait. And I couldn't help but go back to the conversation I had earlier. Did I have a crush on Tom? I mean I just met him.
