Chapter 12

A month later, Tom and I decided on starting to plan the wedding. Who knew wedding planning could be so hard. Tom and I had already picked a wedding date and venue but all the little details were killing Tom and I. I had no idea what I wanted for the color scheme or how we wanted the cake to look. We still had to figure out who the bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid of honor, and best man were. We had to pick out songs and food to serve. If I had to look at one more table cloth, I was going to die.

"Alright. Do you know who you want to be your best man and groomsmen?" I asked Tom deciding on that being the best place to start.

"I want Haz to be my best man and then Jacob, Sam, and Harry to be my groomsmen." Tom said as I wrote this down.

"Alright. And then I want Zendaya to be my maid of honor and Laura, Holland, and Crystal to be my bridesmaids. So now we just need to talk to all of them and make sure they're really okay with that."

Thankfully they all were more than happy to be apart of the wedding. Tom and I were now getting ready to fly out to London to see his family.

After we landed, we went and met Tom's family who was picking us up. We all hugged and then got into the car.

"I'm so happy you two are getting married." Nikki said. "When Tom came to me and asked me to help him pick out a ring, I was so excited."

I looked at Tom. "You asked your mom to help you pick out my engagement ring?"

"Yeah." Tom smiled. "I know you and my mum are close and sadly your mum isn't around anymore so I thought my mum would love to help since you're already like a daughter to her."

"Thank you." I said hugging Tom and then hugging Nikki as best I could since she was sitting in the passenger seat.

"So have you guys thought of a wedding date yet?" Dominic, Tom's dad asked.

"Actually we have." I said, looking at Tom grinning.

"We were thinking September 22 of this year." Tom said smiling and grabbing my hand.

"And we were wondering if you Paddy, would like to be the ring bearer. And then we were going to get Tessa to walk down with you as the flower girl."

"I would love to Katie." Paddy said.

"Have you picked out a dress yet?" Nikki asked me.

"Actually, I have." I said, taking my phone to show her a picture, Tom trying to take a peek at it, only to get a slap from Sam and Harry.

"It's beautiful sweetheart." she said.

"I know. Holland went to pick it up for me and is going to hold on to it."

"Oh and before I forget, Tom and I thought it would be fun to have everyone involved in the wedding to do a dance at the reception. We'll choreograph it and make it easy. So we wanted to make sure it was okay with all of you guys."

Everyone returned the question with a yes and Tom and I were excited. We were getting closer and closer to having this wedding planned out.

When we got to Tom's house, we were greeted with an excited Tessa.

"Hey Tessa, I missed you." said Tom.

"Tessa!" I screamed as the dog came up to me. I kneeled down and gave her a hug.

"I missed you." I said, laughing as Tessa licked my face.

We went to Tom's room and unpacked, then got into bed, tired after all the traveling we did. This week was going to be a nice, relaxing week.
