Chapter 25

Wedding Day

Today's the day, the day Zayn and Lauren would tie the knot and be in each others lives forever. The bride along with her groom were currently preparing themselves in their respective dressing rooms for the big ceremony. 

When Lauren was finally finished putting on her wedding dress and getting her makeup done, she stood before the mirror admiring her new look 

"Damn I look good" Lauren said lowly, loving the sight she saw in her reflection

"Yep you definitely do" Lauren's friends said in agreement causing a smile to form on the bride's face

Shortly, Lauren walked away from the mirror making her way over to her friends while unlocking her phone in the process 

"Let's take a selfie together" Lauren suggested, standing in the middle of her friends waiting for everyone surrounding her to get into position, once her friends were satisfied with their facial expressions and poses, Lauren tapped the camera shutter button taking their picture 

After the photo was taken a smile formed on Lauren and her friends' lips while looking at the selfie they just took together, soon enough the black haired girl had enough of viewing the image which resulted in her locking her phone, she was now getting ready to leave the dressing room. 

When Lauren exited the dressing room, she was now met with the loud sound of a gasp coming from her mom, Clara was absolutely stunned by her daughter's beauty 

"Wow... Lauren you look really beautiful" Clara said in awe at the sight, a smile immediately formed on her daughter's lips 

"Awwww thank you so much mom" Lauren responded, walking over to Clara to give her a hug 

"You're welcome sweetheart, Zayn is definitely going to love seeing you in that dress" 

"You know what he's going to love more?" Lauren asked with a sly smirk 

"Marrying you?" Clara guessed in uncertainty while arching an eyebrow 

"That too but what he'd love more than seeing me in this dress, Is taking it off after our wedding ceremony" Lauren winked, earning a chuckle from her mom

"Very funny Lauren, but in all honesty, I'm really happy for you and Zayn, you guys deserve each other" 

"That's so sweet.. thank you, thank you so much mom" Lauren said placing a hand over her heart while getting emotional 

"Yes Lauren, I mean every word, I just hope everything works out well between the both of you" Clara said, hopeful 

"Don't worry, It will" Lauren reassured in confidence 

When the small talk between Lauren and her mother was over, the bride was now ready to attend her wedding ceremony.

Several minutes later, the wedding ceremony finally began, meanwhile the guests were awaiting the bride's arrival, everyone who were expected to walk down the aisle before the bride made their way down it, taking their respective places once they have reached the altar. 

Moments before it was time for Lauren to walk down the aisle, an adorable 3 year old girl who was meant to be the flower girl made her way down the aisle, dipping her tiny hand into a mini basket she carried, throwing petals here and there as she walked. Once the basket was empty, she made her way to the row of guests where her family were sitting in, her mom immediately picked her up off the floor placing her on the seat next to her. 

At last it was the bride's turn to walk down the aisle, everyone of the guests including Zayn anticipated her arrival in excitement, the black haired boy could no longer wait to see what the love of his life looked like on the most special day of their lives, the pace of his heart beat increased with each second of waiting to see Lauren.
