Chapter 12

Ever since Zayn got a solo deal, he has been working in the studio nonstop, putting in several hours of each day into perfecting his debut album. Usually Lauren wouldn't follow Zayn to the studio since she wanted him to have his own space however this day was different considering the next track he intended on working on was the collab he had with her. 

Before the recording session began, Zayn held his phone in his hand recording himself along with Lauren taking puffs of a marijuana filled blunt on snapchat. Once the two were satisfied with the amount of smoke they had inhaled, they decided it was time to start recording 

Zayn and Lauren made their way over to their respective recording booths proceeding to sing their lines to the duet 

Seeing that the two artists were standing before their microphones the producers who came along with them knew it was time to get down to business...

A few hours later 

"You guys did an amazing job" one of the producers praised as the duet was finished recording 

"Thank you" Zayn and Lauren said in unison making their way out of the recording booth heading over to where the producers were currently sitting

"No problem, I just know the fans are going to go crazy when they hear this track" the producer said with high hopes, a smile formed on Zayn and Lauren's lips 

"I guess we'll see when we release the song right babe?" Zayn asked throwing an arm around Lauren's shoulder she nodded in response leaning her head into his touch, resting her head against his shoulder

"Oh don't sound so unsure, the fans will definitely love this song.. hey you know what I think you should let it be the lead single on your album" the producer suggested 

"Hmmmmm" Zayn hummed in thought earning an arched eyebrow from the producer 

"What you don't think it's a good idea?" Zayn stood in thought for a short moment before coming up with a response 

"Eh... I wouldn't say I don't it's a good idea it's just that I didn't intend on making this song the lead single during the process of writing the album, PILLOWTALK has always been the song I had in mind as to being the lead single when the album is complete" 

"Yeah but remember that you and Lauren are a thing now and if you guys release this song along with a hot ass music video it would do numbers for sure since a lot of persons would watch it to see you two together" Zayn stood in thought processing everything the producer had just told him, at first he didn't think it was a good idea to let wRoNg be the lead single of his album until a good point was brought up to him 

"You know, you're absolutely right... making wRoNg be the lead single would be a great idea especially since my baby right here is an underground artist who's dating a popstar, so a lot of people are intrigued and wants to know who is this girl that has captured my heart" Zayn said looking down at the girl learning her head against his shoulder, suddenly Lauren's cheeks heated up in embarrassment due to her lover's words this caused her to instantly raise her head off Zayn's shoulder

"Zayn!!" Lauren exclaimed in embarrassment causing her lover to laugh 

"Haha! It's true though Beb" zayn teased leaning forward to peck Lauren's lips 

"Get a room you two" the producer joked as he watched Zayn pressing a small kiss to Lauren's lips causing the couple to laugh in each others mouths 

"But anyways I'll see you at our next recording session" 

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it" with that Zayn and Lauren decided it was time to leave the studio to return home

The recording session finally came to an end, everyone in the studio was exhausted from all the hard work they had put in, it was now time for them to head back to their respective homes. 

When Zayn and Lauren exited the studio, they were met with a few fans waiting for them on the outside, to Lauren's surprise the fans were actually being nice and respectful to her considering majority of them were Zayn's own fans and usually they would throw rude words her way 

"Hey Lauren can I get a picture with you?" A girl holding her cellphone asked, hopeful 

"Sure" Lauren responded with a smile standing right next to the girl, posing for the picture 

The celebrity couple spared a few minutes of their time taking pictures and making small talk with fans then decided to call it a night 

"Okay bye guys we're heading home now" Zayn waved the fans goodbye making his way to his car with Lauren following behind 

"Bye Zayn, Bye Lauren, we love you guys so much, have a safe journey back" the couple's hearts swelled with love at the fans' words they couldn't help but turn around to return the love to them 

"We love you guys so much too" Zayn and Lauren said in unison, Lauren blew a kiss to the fans before heading into the awaiting car
