Taking in a sharp breath, you straighten your dress. You were going to spend the day with your best friend, Steve. You two are planning to go by the pier of Brooklyn and watch the sunset. And after that, you two are going to eat at your favorite diner. You took one last look in the mirror before walking out your house as you bid bye to your parents.

Knocking on Bucky and Steve's apartment, Steve answered with a small smile on his face. "You ready?" You asked. He nodded. He wore a satchel on his shoulder; you were curious on what is inside his small bag. He offered his arm for you to link, you gladly link your arm on his. "What's with the satchel?" You asked. "Oh, um...my sketchbook and some pencils." He stuttered a bit. "I bet you're going to draw the sunset huh?" You smiled. He chuckled as he shook his head. "You know it."

As you arrived at the pier, you and Steve sat at the edge as the two of you watch the sun set over the horizon. "We should've come here." You said as you looked at Steve. "Agreed. It's much more beautiful than the other places we usually go." Steve took out his sketchbook and his pencils as he started to look at the view.
After minutes had passed, he was done. "Can I see what you did?" You asked as you peered over his shoulder. He gave you his sketchbook as he watched your face. As you took his sketchbook, you gasp at the drawing. It was you instead of the view. You were stunned and amazed at the same time. "I thought you were drawing the view?" You exclaimed. "You're much more beautiful than the view Y/N." Steve said matter-of-factly. You blushed. "Thank you." You said sheepishly. "You can have it if you want it." He offered. "No, you have it. Just a remembrance if we part our ways." You looked at him into his blue eyes.

Brushing your H/C hair in the mirror, you saw your eyes glistening from the verge of tears. You missed Bucky already, but at least Steve's still here. Placing your brush down on your makeup table, you mustered a smile. "Y/N, just go to the theater where Steve is waiting." You said to yourself. You saw Steve pick on a brute in an alleyway behind the theater, but luckily he came out bruised only, no other harm done. You took your bag and slung it on your shoulder as you left your house, saying bye to your parents.

"Steve!" You waved. You saw him in the line of the theater to order tickets for the movie. "Y/N, hey, right on time." He smiled. You quickly gave Steve a soft hug and waited beside him for the line to move.

"I said, you need to show a little respect." Steve said sternly to the man sitting a few seats away from him. "Steve, I told you, no picking up on fights." You said to him. "He was disrespectful." He said. "What's your problem, punk?" The man asked. "All I said was Greer had a nice rear." The man nudged his pal beside him as they laughed at his own joke.

"If you don't shut up, I'll make you." Steve threatened at the guy. This isn't going to end well, you thought. The man stood up from his seat as he turned around to face Steve. "How about me and you go outside and settle this like men?"

Steve quickly got out of his seat. "Y/N, please stay here." Steve ordered. "Steve—"

"Y/N." Steve gave you a stern look before walking out; the man following him behind, winking at you as he passed by. You rolled your eyes in disgust. After you saw the man disappeared, you disobeyed Steve's order and got out the theater and went to the alleyway where the two are at.

"You just don't know when to give up do you?" The man asked with a sneer. Steve stood up as he raised his fists, panting from the lose of energy he drained when fighting off the man. "I can do this all day." Steve panted.
