Walking down the dark pavements of Brooklyn, it feels like you're being followed. You're just going back home from a party your friend invited you. You tilted your head to the right and saw three to five dark figures in the distance. Even if there are little people around, they're still following you. You turned to a curb that ended up to be an alleyway.

Wrong turn Y/N! You dolt!

The five men still followed you as you further walked in the alley. You could feel your hands start to feel cold, your forehead with beads of sweat, and your body trembling in fear. You ended up in a dead end and you turned around to see them walking closer to your way. Your breathing started to quicken as the thought of dying invaded your head. The five men were now standing five feet away from you. "What is a young beautiful lady like you walking in the streets at night?" The one asked. You don't want to engage in a conversation, but hey, you know how to defend yourself, you had been studying combat for the past few years and it was a full help for say. "Stay back." You threatened, but it came out as a pleading or begging way. You took your high heel and raised it above your head, ready to strike when they're going to attack. You felt adrenaline coursing through you, hoping that someone will save you.

Screw Prince Charming, you said before throwing your heel to the nearby stranger's forehead. He groaned from the pain. "Tough one are ya sweet cheeks?" The man who you just hit with your heel said. "I studied combat for six years and I can take you all five down with my power." You said, taking your other heel and throwing it to him again. Your shoes were completely gone, only leaving you in your black stockings.

He was completely pissed. He rubbed his forehead and ran to you. You moved aside, letting him go straight to the pile of garbage cans. He stood up and tackled you down. You hit him on the neck with your elbow as you rolled his unconscious body off of you. Another one was charging towards you but you kicked him in the shin. He curled up and collapsed on the floor as he was writhing on the cold ground. The other one attempted to attack you. He punched you by the jaw as you rubbed the stinging pain building up on your jaw. You took his shoulders and forced him down as you jabbed his stomach with your knee. You pushed him aside as you stood there hand on hips with a devious smirk on your face. The other two men just stood there, shaking in fear.

"What? Are you two just gonna stand there while your friends writhe in pain?" You sassed. The two had helped their fallen comrades and walked out of the alley. You crouched down to get your broken heels and groan in frustration. Great, you're going shoeless. You held your heels and walked back home.

As you walked down the dark pavements of Brooklyn, you came across two very familiar faces. "Y/N!" Steve called out as he rushed towards you, Bucky following behind. "We were worried sick about you." Bucky said. You chuckled a smile. "Why is your face a mess?" Bucky cupped your face in his hands as he examined your face with dirt, some small cuts and a bruise on your jaw. You slightly blush from the contact and how his face was inches apart from yours. You had never seen Bucky so worried of you, including Steve. "I'm sorry for making you two worried. I fought five big men down the alley." You said. "YOU WHAT?!" Steve and Bucky exclaimed as Bucky suddenly pulled away from you to stand beside Steve. They didn't expect that kind of answer to escape your mouth and it almost earned them a heart attack. "YOU FOUGHT FIVE MEN ALONE?! WITH HEELS AND A DRESS?!" Bucky exclaimed. You nodded. "BUT HOW?!" Steve exclaimed. "I've been studying combat for about six years." You said, egotistic. Steve and Bucky's face were priceless. "You. Study. Combat?" Bucky said. "Yeah."

"Y/N, you're wearing stockings while you're walking down the dark streets, you could've gotten hurt from sharp rocks, or worse, step on a shattered glass or bottle." Steve interjected. You sigh. "Guys, seriously I'm fine. You two don't need to worry so much about me." You said. "Fine? Having cuts and bruises is fine?" Bucky said. "Your parents might think we didn't take care of you properly after what happened. They might not let us see you again." Steve gestured to Bucky and him. You rolled your eyes. "Steve, they won't, they'll believe me either way. They trust me and they know about my combat lessons." You reassured. "Now I better get going, it's kinda past my curfew." You said. "But before that, we better patch you up in our apartment, so that your parents would think we really care for you." Bucky held your shoulder to stop from your track. "You're not walking shoeless." Bucky said. "Then what do you expect me to do? Levitate and fly to your apartment?" You sassed. He walked in front of you and squatted. "What are you—" Bucky cut you off short. "A piggyback ride." He said. You rolled your eyes. "I'm not—"

"Just hop on my back you idiot."

You sighed and hop on his back anyways. "Here Steve, take her heels." Bucky handed Steve your heels as they started walking to their apartment.

"Ow!" You hissed from the pain as Steve dabbed the cotton that was wet of alcohol on your cuts. "Sorry." Steve said as Bucky held an ice pack on your bruised jaw. "Andddddd you're done." Steve said. "Thank you for your help you punk and jerk." You giggled. "Always for our girl." Bucky ruffled your hair a bit. You scowled at him before you brush your hair with your fingers. "Now, can you two bring me back home, cuz my parents are starting to get worried about me." You said before standing up. "No problem." Bucky said.

The night was damp and cold, it reminded you of a day when you, Steve and Bucky soaked in the rain at night and also in the afternoon. Bucky still carried you like a while ago while Steve still held your heels. The three of you walked down the low lighted pavements of your small village in Brooklyn as you placed your chin on Bucky's shoulder tiredly. Bucky blushed from the contact that caught his breath in his throat.

You then arrived at your house.

"Thank you." You hopped down on Bucky's back and smiled at them before pecking their cheeks. "Now, I'm scared of what will awaits me behind that door." You chuckled. "Can you say hi to your parents for us?" Steve said. You nodded. "Sure. Oh...I can show you two some of the tricks I know. Someday." You then turned on your heels and walked up to the porch of your house. You held the doorknob and looked back at your beloved best friends and smiled before opening the door, finally heading in.

You were then greeted by your parents. Your mom tapping her foot impatiently as her arms were folded against her chest, your dad, well a hand-on-hip thing. "Where have you been?!" Your mom exclaimed as she shifted in front of you. You rubbed the back of your neck frantically of what will they think if you tell them the whole story. Your parents have the right kind of strict and you love that about them because they know what's good for you and what's not. "It's nine pm, you're supposed to be back by eight. What happened?" Your dad did the same. "If this is just a lie, you're grounded young lady." Your mom said.

"I was going back home from a friend's party. And I was walking back home, it's dark and I saw five men following me and I kicked their a-- cause of my combat skill and yada yada I continued to kick their a--. I finished them off some are knocked out, then I walked back home and encountered Bucky and Steve while on the way. They saw me with some dirt and bruise on my face. They lead me to their apartment and patched me up there and they walked me home and here I am! Oh and I threw those five men with my heels. And lastly, Bucky and Steve said hi." You said. Your mom's serious face changed to an amusing and proud look. "I take back what I said." You smiled. "Guess training you combat lessons wasn't a bad idea after all." Your dad chuckled. "And this is why I love your two best friends, such gentleman." Your mom sighed a smile. "Riiiiggghhhhttt." You rolled your eyes. "And I better get back to bed, cause I'm really tired." You yawned and kissed your parents on their cheeks before you walked up to your room.

You tossed your dress in the hamper and dressed up in your sleepwear. This is going to be a beautiful night full of sleep.
