Austin, Jacob and I looked at Harmony who is standing in front of us leaning again the tv cabinet.
"How bad is this bad news of yours?" Austin asks concerned.
"Last night, I had a phone call from some random number. They didn't say who or drop any hints on to who they are but all they said was, they are on their way to LA as we spea-"
"Hold up and you're only telling us now!" I stood up. "We need more time." I freaked starting to pass back and forth.
"Looks like time isn't on our hands right now. Look, we know Los Angeles better than they do so we have the upper hand here" She tries to think of the positive.
"Yes, but they do have connections too" Jacob adds.
"Right now, they don't know where we are and if they did we would know by now," Harmony says hopefully.
"Sooner or later they are going to find us, it doesn't help that Noah has blown up since his recent movie was released," Austin replies, but you can tell he was starting to get nervous.
"I know that and it wasn't supposed to turn out that way. Even if they had 'found us'" I quoted, "We would have noticed if something out of the ordinary. Our street isn't busy, we know all our neighbors and we also know everyone's cars. Unless you've noticed something different" I looked at everyone who is trying to figure out if something dodgy has been happening.
"What if they aren't here for us but for someone else? I mean what Noah said is right and nothing has changed, normally we see their two baits walking around as if they are innocent but neither one of us has seen them." Jacob puts it into perspective.
"You've got a point there" I nodded agreeing.
"And we haven't received their letters" Austin adds.
"But why would I get a phone call from some random?" Harmony questions.
"Something dodgy is going on" I narrow my eyes.
"And we need to figure it, fast" Harmony says.
"We really have to watch our back now, we can't slack off as we much as we have been lately" I declare just as my phone dings.
Everyone continued to talk amongst themselves about this situation as I unlocked my phone to see it was from Kiki.
Hey, I'm just texting to let you know I'm ready and just waiting on you now. I can't wait for tonight, it's going to be fun!
I smiled and replied 'See you soon'.
"Noah," Harmony catches my attention.
I locked my phone and slide it into my back pocket, "Yes?"
"With them in LA and stories that have been plastered on social media of both you and Kiki. I think i-"
"Wait, what stories of her and I?" I interpreted her midway through her sentence.
"New couple alert, fans have been posting a video on Instagram of the way you look at her and everyone thinks something is going on" Jacob notifies.
"Video?" I said puzzled.
Austin hands me his phone showing me what they are talking about.
