Percy POV

Artemis , Thalia , Spencer , Michael, Caleb and I had walked for what seemed to be hours through Monroe forest . Dalton has led us through the forest , I had flashed Joey back to the med bay , he's in rough shape but he's stable so that's good but finding Wrath was a more pressing matter .

We came up to a clearing and there was nothing but chaos around us , corpses of soldiers lay everywhere the smell of death filled the air , there was so much blood spilt there was a red mist if it weren't for the smell that was absolutely nauseating I'd say this would be a scene out of a painting .

Some men had heads separated from there shoulders , arms missing cut down the middle in half or had there torsos separated from there legs .

" My gods  he did all this ?" Thalia has said with a look of horror on her face

" Wrath isn't the one you wanna anger he has a lot of control over his emotions , but there is a darkness that swells deep within in him he keeps repressed , whenever he loses control it takes over , that's most likely why there's hundreds of dead soldiers around here ." Michael chimed in .

" Hey I found him !" Lady Artemis yelled

There about 150 meters away layer up against a  tree unconscious with his long sword in his hand was the semi titan responsible for all this destruction .

He was in bad condition he had and arrow in his left hand , four imbedded in legs , and seven in his torso . Thalia started running towards as fast as possible with tears in her eyes .

Thalia POV

I just took off I couldn't help it , he couldn't be  gone .

" Hey Roger ! Wake up you can't die , you made me a promise okay ! You always keep promises right ?" I started getting choked up I started shaking him to get him to respond .

I turned my head back too My lady , Percy and the other 3 brothers . " Is he -" Caleb was cut off by a groan which came from  Roger .

" Roger ! " I said

" Please stop shaking me ..... it's not exactly helping the pain Thalia ." He said with a pained smile on his face that same charming smile that made me melt .

I hugged him .

" I missed you too Thalia ." He said

Percy POV

" Man with Roger fighting for us he could slay a  hundred men , we are unstoppable ." Caleb said

Roger looked up at me and lifted his left hand that had an arrow imbedded in it . He then looked at it and  I chuckled . " You look like a porcupine with all those arrows in you . " I said

" Yeah well I feel like I landed in a mound of them . " he shots back

"Come on we need to get you back too the Med bay , you'll have plenty of time to joke about your condition after you are healed ." Spencer said

" Buzzkill ." Roger said annoyingly .
