I attacked the clothes on my floor searching between the piles of dirty clothes in attempt to find an outfit that I had thought up in my head that I didn't even know for sure I had ownership of. A shiver tripled itself up my spine and I stood up abruptly removing the cigarette from my lips for a brief second to exhale the heated up smoke from my insides into the cold atmosphere of my bedroom, my mum was going to kill me when she got home. She hated me smoking inside, I even hated smoking inside but I would already be out of the house if I could find my jeans but no, instead I stand in a pair of underwear and a bra that hardly does its job searching for something I don't even know I have for fact.

I let out a deep sigh, stuck my cigarette back between my lips and made a break for the opposite side of my bedroom towards a fairly promising pile of unknown clothes; I bent over and retrieved a pair of black skinny jeans from the pile and kept searching for a shirt or something close to a shirt. I felt the smoke stir itself in my throat and I stood up and quickly reacted taking the cigarette out of my mouth and beginning to choke, my eyes began to water and I put the cigarette out on my window ledge and slowly caught my breath back leaning against my window, it was dark now. Perfect.

I grabbed the closest shirt I could which ended up being a plain white tee shirt with rolled up sleeves; I rushed towards the front door grabbing the essentials on my way out phone, jacket, keys and wallet. I shoved my phone the back pocket of my jeans, I forced my keys into the same pocket and then opened up the door while trying to fiddle my shirt onto myself, it was big and baggy and probably four sizes too big for me, the best kind of comfort, or so I thought.

I ran down the street clutching onto my wallet trying to step on parts of the road that weren't going to hurt my feet, I transferred from the road onto the grass not paying attention to the houses I was passing. When I got to the end of my road I slowed down to a slowish walk and then stopped in my tracks, doing a 360 turn to assess that no one was out and about or going to see my next move.

All clear, I weakly chucked my wallet over the fence and then threw myself up towards the top of the fence shifting my weight into my right leg to lead myself over the fence, I sort of fell over the fence which defiantly wasn't part of the plan. Still facing the fence I closed my eyes and ran my fingers through my hair trying to catch my breath hoping that no one had seen how awfully I had climbed the fence. I opened my eyes and pushed my long black hair onto my left shoulder and bent down to collect my wallet and at that very moment that I began to bend over I heard a laugh, it belonged to my best friend, Lana. I turned around to meet her gaze and let out a sigh, "You saw that, didn't you?", the words flinging themselves out of my mouth sounding distraught, she just let out a chuckle and grabbed my hand and began to lead me through the yard towards another fence.
"Where are your shoes, Lilith?"
"Uh, I didn't think I needed them"

Great, another stupid move on my behalf.

Lana Plonked herself down into the grass crossing her legs and placing her bag in front of her, she began to dig in it and I sat instinctively in front of her, in the dark empty yard.
The only light that was available was the slight light that the half-filled moon was letting off; I saw the shape of Lana's lips and her shoulder length brown hair. She had some form of pants on and what appeared to be a more practical shirt that didn't look like something she stole out of her dad's closet, unlike me.

Lana pulled out a zip lock bag and began to giggle.
"All that, just for us?" I asked, almost in horror

If we were smoking all of that by ourselves, it defiantly wasn't going to end well.
"Well, no" Lana replied almost in a whisper
"What, you invited people and didn't tell me" I spit out in disbelief
"They're coming soon; hopefully they jump the right fence and do a better job than you did."
