7am the next morning I was faced with the torture known as my alarm going off. I heard mum call from downstairs 'Lilith are you up? Get ready for school.'

I groaned to no one in particular and sat up in my bed. My head hurt from the amount of drugs I smoked the night before and the sun was shining bright through the curtains as if to say 'fuck you for making bad decisions'. I sighed to myself and rolled out of bed, literally.

After sitting on the floor for a few minutes I grabbed my uniform that was just thrown on the chair from the day before, and walked to the bathroom. I did the usual, brush my teeth, go to the toilet and seeing as I was too out of it to think straight I threw my long, black hair into a messy pony tail. I looked in the mirror for a while before leaving the bathroom and going downstairs for breakfast, well, I dragged myself down the stairs. I don't recall much of what happened last night after I jumped the fence to go home.

'Lilith are you okay, you don't look so good' mum said when I walked into the kitchen.
I grabbed a Panadol from the cupboard and dry swallowed it, I then grabbed the coco pops and a bowl from the cupboard and walked over to the fridge for milk. 'Lilith' mum said sternly as I was pouring my cereal into the bowl. 'Mum I'm fine, I was up all night studying' I lied without looking up.

After I finished my cereal and said goodbye to mum I left for school. It's about a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute drive, but of course I have been too lazy to go for my P's. It was pretty cold outside so I pulled my dumb school blazer tighter around me and started walking. It was less than 5 minutes before I pulled out a cigarette and lit it; I blew the smoke out slowly and continued walking slowly, still slightly buzzed from last night.

For the next 6 hours I was locked in a school surrounded by pretentious girls with way to much make up on their faces complaining about issues that won't even matter 5 years from now. By last period I was so annoyed at nothing in particular all I wanted to do was go out in the cold and chain smoke on the roof of my place. By. My. Self.

When the last bell rang signalling the end of the day I let out a sigh of relief, picked up my things and walked out the door without another word. I went to my locker surrounded by girls having a conversation about some boy they were so interested in. I knew all the girls but not enough to care about anything they had to say.
'have you seen his eyes?' the first one asked the others.
They were too close and too loud for me to ignore.
'They're so beautiful, but have you seen his new piercing, it looks so good on him' the second one responded.
'Forget the piercing have you seen the tattoos' the first girl said.
The third one, who was texting the whole time, decided it was her turn to speak up and said 'I think he dyed his hair again, what colour is it now? Purple or some shit?'
'Lilac' I muttered underneath my breath, not loud enough for any of them to hear what I said but apparently the second girl heard something,
'What was that?' she asked, putting her hand on her hip and looking at me.
'You're in my way,' I said 'now move before I make you'; I pushed through her and the other girls and got my things from my locker. The three girls scoffed at me and walked away continuing their conversation about, what appeared to be, Michael. What did they find so interesting about him anyway, he was just like every other guy around here.

I closed my locker and walked outside. Hopefully Lana is still here so she can drop me off at my place on her way to hers.

After I finally walked through the front gates of my school I saw Lana's car sitting across the road. I walked toward it and as I got closer I saw that Lana was actually there, just on the other side, with someone else.

I kept walking and when I got to Lana I saw that the other person she was with was, in fact, Michael. Great, I wasn't in the mood for anything he had to say right now.
