jack's p.o.v.

"where are you taking me?" aria asks, taking another sip of her starbucks.

"the skate shop," i reply.

we had already gotten our starbucks after aria fell, and the boys had let me take the car with aria.

aria's roommates, who i now know are kaylani and liv, are still hanging out with the boys, probably at the mall, and waiting for us to get back.

"really?" she says, looking at me.

i smile, eyes on the road, still driving as she looks away.

"yup. you said you'd let me get you a new skateboard already, anyway," i say.

she scoffs as we arrive at the shop.

"how come this place isn't near the skatepark? i'm pretty sure they'd be able to sell even more skateboards if it was near a place that actually requires skateboards," she says, getting out of the car.

"i actually don't know," i say, following her actions as i lock the car doors.

we walk in as the feeling of cold air hits our faces.

i look around the familiar shop, taking in the sight of the many, many boards.

i look to see aria doing the same, but with more astonishment.

i laugh, "you like it?"

"yeah," she simply says before she walks further into the shop, looking at each individual board.

i stand there and watch her, admiring her.

now, i probably seem like a creep, but how could i not?

she stops at a particular board. it had an ombre of blue and purple for the color of the wheels, and as for the design, intricate blue, purple, and green palm trees littered the back side of the board, rainbow checkers as the background (a/n this board honestly seems so nice and it's not even real wth).

i walk over to her, "you want that one?"

"yeah," she slightly whispers, as she carefully takes it off of the display, looking at it a little closer.

"k, then. let's go to the front desk so i can pay for it," i say as i start walking forward, but aria stays in the same position, looking at the board.

"aria, come on! if you want it, i have to buy it," i laugh.

she finally comes back to reality, as she takes the board in her hand and starts walking towards me.

"y'know, thanks for this," she says as i give the man the money, and take the board in exchange.

"anytime," i say, as i hand the board to her.

she quickly runs outside, putting the board on the ground as she pushes off of it, zooming through the parking lot.

i walk over to the car, and watch her skate throughout the parking lot.

"WOOO!" i hear her yell, as she skates back towards the car.

i laugh as she quickly gets in the passenger seat, as i get in as well and start the engine.

the rest of the ride consisted of us jamming out to random songs on the radio, and me discovering how much of an extrovert aria really is.

"hey, where'd they go?" i hear aria ask as we enter the mall, expecting the boys, kaylani and liv to be there.

but instead, we are met with absolutely no one but average shoppers.

"i don't know..." i reply, looking around the front of the mall.

"ok, then let's go find them," aria says, confident in herself.

she starts walking towards the wide arrangement of stores, slightly peeking inside of each of them to check if five idiots and two familiar ladies around.

i follow her, looking in each of the stores as well.

we finally reach the food court and find all of them scattered together on one table, talking.

as i observe them, i notice that daniel and liv are talking together in their own conversation, basically blocking out the rest of the world.

aria skips over to their table and abruptly slams her hands on the table, startling everyone in not only our table, but the rest of the food court.

aria, however, ignores the stares that she's getting from other people, and says, "WASSUP, HOMIES? I'M BACK!"

"oh my god, ARIA! could you be a little bit more QUIET?" kaylani whisper-shouts to aria.

"OH MY GOD, THE SKY! THE SKY IS UP! JUST STOP ASKING THAT FREAKING QUESTION! IT'S SO OBVIOUS!" corbyn yells once again, but not loud enough to catch the attention of other shoppers.

"you know what, just ignore him," daniel says to liv, as she nods.

aria slightly laughs at corbyn's comment, and it causes some kind of firey feeling in my stomach, and i stiffen up a bit.

jealousy?

no...

or at least i don't think so...
