aria's p.o.v.

"guys, i'm going out!" i yell out to kaylani and liv, as i grab my bag and the keys.

"OOOOH! WHERE?" i hear kaylani yell back.

"the why don't we house!" i shout.

"OH FOR JACK?" i hear liv ask.

"oh my god," i mutter.

"OKAY, BYE!" i finally yell into the apartment, as i start to close the door.

"WAIT YOU NEVER ANSWERED MY QUES-" the slam of the door cuts liv off, me smiling to myself.

i quickly make my way downstairs to the lobby, as i whip out my phone to send a quick text to corbyn.

"I'LL GET IT!" i hear someone yell from behind the door, as i had just rang the doorbell to the why don't we house.

the door opens for me to see a daniel seavey, happy and bright-eyed as usual.

"oh, hi, aria. what brings you to our lovely home today?" he asks.

"hi. i'm here to hang with corbyn. is he home?"

his face drops. "actually, yeah. but he's not exactly in the right mood to hangout right now..."

"oh, he asked me to come over," i inform him.

"oh! okay. in that case, come on in. he's upstairs in his room. second door to the right," he says, as he opens the door wider for me to walk in.

i happily walk in, making my way to the staircase, when jack spots me from the couch.

"oh, hey, aria," he greets, looking up from his phone.

"hi," i say, stopping at the bottom of the stairs.

"um, not to be rude or anything, but why are you here?" he asks.

"oh, i'm here to hangout with corbyn for maybe a few hours to get everything off of his mind," i answer, starting to walk up the stairs.

jack suddenly gets a bit more stiff, as he replies, "oh. okay."

i shrug and continue to walk up the stairs, stopping at corbyn's bedroom.

i knock on the door, waiting for corbyn to answer. i hear a bit of some shuffling around before the door swings open, revealing corbyn.

"i'm so glad you came," corbyn says, embracing me in a hug.

"well, hello to you too," i say, as i return the embrace. he pulls apart from me and gestures for me to come in, and i sit on his bed.

"ugh, it's been so different without talking to christina, he says, literally jumping onto his bed, landing on his back.

i laugh at his actions, "i know. but i still don't get why she broke up with you," i say, getting comfy on his bed.

"i don't know either."

jack's p.o.v.

aria came over to our house, claiming that she's here to hangout with corbyn to, "get everything off his mind."

i mean, i get it, since christina just broke up with him, but it doesn't stop me from getting suspicious. i might sound overprotective and stuff, especially since i'm not even dating aria.

not that i want to.

screw that. i do want to date her.

that sounds creepy. how about, i want to be in a relationship with her.

she's like... how do i explain this? she's different. and i like that.

not to mention she's drop dead gorgeous.

and now this corbyn thingy is kind of worrying me. maybe i'm just being stupid. or maybe aria is trying something with me.

even if i tried, i would never know.

suddenly, i feel my phone vibrate out of my back pocket.

i see a text from a girl that i met on tinder, gabbie (a/n I ACTUALLY LOVE GABBIE AND SHE'S SO SWEET AND STUFF BUT FOR STORY PURPOSES SHE'S GONNA BE A BAD PERSON).

i wanted to get my mind of off aria, since i'm practically losing my mind over her, so i browsed tinder for a bit, and found gabbie.

as i said, she's only supposed to be a distraction, but she doesn't get that.
