-CASEY-

"Bihhhhh that shit was lit." Michelle said to me as we laid on my California-King french style white and gold Rococo bed. We were talking about the party and how much fun we had. Since we were all drunk, we had my driver drop us back off at my house. I lived in a six bedroom, 6.5 bath flat home. I had a pool out back and a large deck. I was known for cookouts and kickbacks so I needed more space.

"I barely remember it. It was so many people there. People I didn't even know was coming." I told them as I scrolled through my instagram. People were still posting pictures from last night. "Like Gabe." Bree added. I shot her a death stare.

"Which one of yall hoes invited him?" I said sitting up in my bed. "We didn't invite him Case. We thought you did." Michelle said throwing a pillow at me. "No I didn't but somehow he appeared. Never seen a New York nigga pop up in Atlanta so much." I said going back to my phone.

"I wonder who he's popping up for?" Bree asked with a smirk. "Like I know?" I said side-eyeing Bree. "Have fun Case. You tight." Michelle said sincerely. I put my phone down so that they could hear me very loud and clear.

"Yall know I love me a hood nigga... BUT, I refuse to date a rapper. You know how I am. I don't like everybody in my business and I damn sure aint trying to be mainstream ---" "shit that's more money for you though, everybody trying to be your client LAWYER BAE" Michelle said cutting me off.

"See that's the shit I dont want. I be in my own world. I'm not trying to be pulled into the entertainment life. I love what I do and that's all I want to do. I don't need a mainstream bae. I'll continue being lawyer bae. Luckily, no one knows that's me." I said laying back in the bed.

"Best friend, you deserve to be happy. You've been through so much to get where you are. You out here living your best life. You might as well live your best life with someone who genuinely likes you." Bree said.

"When God sends me someone, I'll listen. Until then, I'm chilling." I added. "How you know he aint sending you Gabe?" Bree asked. "Gabe aint ready for someone like me. He's probably used to bitches being all on his dick. That ain't me. I don't need to text or talk all day. Time is money and I aint wasting either. He wouldn't know how to handle me. Especially being hundreds miles away. I'm straight on that." Bree was about to respond until we heard someone banging on my door like the damn feds.

I looked at the time and it was 12:17 pm. My room was in the far back of the house so whoever it was had to be banging hard for us to hear them. "You're expecting someone?" Bree said looking at me.

"Hell no, bih." I said opening up my nightstand drawer and grabbing my 9MM with a marble handle and gold accents. "They fucking with the right one on the wrong day." I said getting up from the bed. "Oh Lordt." Bree said as they followed behind me.

"WHO THE FUCK IS IT?" I yelled with some bass in my voice. "Say it with ya chest" Bree added causing us to laugh. "Shut up." I said looking back and then back to the door as I looked through the peephole with my 9 to the side.

"How the fuck this nigga know where I stay?" I said as I opened the door revealing Gabe.

"Damn girl. The fuck you in here doing got me knocking on the door for five minutes." He said trying to ease his way in my house. I blocked the door and stood there in front of him with a crazy look with my 9 still to my side.

"The real question is, how do you know where I stay?" I asked. He was looking me up and down. I was still in my PJs which was a white tank top sleeping dress that stopped right below my ass. He was licking his lips until I guess he peeped my gun then he started laughing.
