Rosalie's POV:

When I get out of the shower, I decide to let my hair air dry into soft ringlets. I put on a flowy light blue sundress with a bulky black belt on the waist. I glanced outside at the first signs of storm. The clouds were getting quite dark. Hopefully, Ashton would be here soon.

I pulled at the tops of my black thigh highs nervously. I couldn't help but fidget as Arabella did my makeup. She clucked about how much I was growing up too fast. She couldn't help but  take on the act of an overprotective mom. It wasn't my first date though. I mean I had been on plenty. Kind of. They were all with groups, but this would be the first one by myself.

Could you blame me for being nervous? Ashton arrived looking casual with a bandana on his head. He whisked me away saying things about how he didn't want me to get wet because I looked so pretty. I blushed hoping he wouldn't notice in the dimness of his car. The rain started to pound against  the car rhythmically.

"I guess I should have looked at the weather beforehand." Ashton said nervously running a hand through his hair.

"It's fine." I smiled up at him from the passenger seat.

We decide to go to The Hangout, and order sandwiches. The lights start flickering in and out, but the conversation never ended. Who knew we had so much in common? We both have the favorite color of red, and love ice skating. I guess I'm into drummers, huh? Especially ones with messy hair and hazel eyes.

We were both sipping on his favorite banana milkshakes, Ashton says The Hangout's are practically world-famous, when the electricity finally went out. A familiar looking face with bright green eyes shone in the dark by the light of a  flashlight.

"Hey Ash! Do you mind running to the store for more batteries?" asked Wyatt.

"I'm kind in the middle of- " Ashton was saying when I interrupted to him.

"Its fine. Let's go!" I got out of the booth and headed to the door. Ash raised an eyebrow at Wyatt and continued after me.  We got into the car, and glanced  at each other and laughed. We both were soaking wet. The whole ten minute ride we were singing along to All Time Low songs at the top of lungs. We when got parked Remembering Sunday came on and Ashton dramatically sang it to me.

"But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems"

After that I Feel Like Dancin' came on and I jumped out the car, leaving the door open, and the speakers facing out.

"Dance with me!" I yelled to Ashton holding out my hand to him. "Be a little fearless."

"Of course m'lady." Ash said and bowed. We danced wildly a minute or two till he pulled me closer wrapping his arms around my waist. I placed my head on his chest, and he kissed my hair. Surprised I looked up into his eyes sparkling with desire. I reached up and kissed him. Astonished at myself, I almost pulled away but he kept me close and kissed me back.

I guess you could say it was a perfect kiss in the rain, even if it was in the parking lot of store. The date ended wonderfully. I just cant wait to see Ash again. I think it's safe to say we forgot the batteries.
