A few days later.
Just like usual, she got up early to leave for work. Her grumpy morning self would mindlessly groom herself.
While, brushing her long hair she seemed to gaze out her window that gave view to his neighbor's room.
She simply sighed. After that attempt of conversing with the new guy, she never went back to him. She could tell he wasn't interested, since he never made a move himself.
What did she expect? She was just happy for nothing. Whether the guy lived there or not, there still wasn't a difference.
Neither, did she once saw him get out of his house. He seemed unusually isolated.
Her thoughts abruptly stopped when she saw smoke coming out of his house.
She gasped and sprinted off to his place, her brush falling from her hands.
.........
She impatiently rang his bell, and the door was quick to open.
Just when she thought, she would be met by the skinny male, immense smoke greeted her.
She fanned the toxic smoke with her hands, while coughing miserably.
A hand grabbed her,as she stumbled inside.
Her eyes widened as she noticed the burning stove in the kitchen.
The house being abandoned for years had lost its fire resistant facilities.
But thankfully there was a fire extinguisher.
"Get a side" She ordered at the guy, as he obediently followed.
She grabbed hold of the extinguisher and quickly sprayed on the heated flames.
After a while, the fire seemed to have died down.
Both of them exhaled a sigh of relief. Until the girl, turned to him.
"Yah! You want to burn yourself into flames or what?!" She said at considerable high tone.
"Like hell I want to! It was an accident!" He shouted back.
"Don't tell me, you were trying to cook?" She asked, with a brow raised.
The guy opened his mouth to say something, but simultaneously shut it close.
"Oh lord, how did you survive without food until now?" She asked him, getting the hint he had no idea of cooking.
"I was living on snacks..." He replied.
She stared at him, bewildered.
Is he sane? Is what she wondered.
"Come over to my house... I'll make you breakfast." She spoke, crossing her arms.
.........
"Welcome" the girl spread her arms in a dramatic way.
He entered her house, with cautious steps. He was quite hesitant at first, but the girl's urging had won the case.
"So...How's it?" She asked him, her hands on her hips.
She was somehow hyper. The only person other than her whom she had invited here was Hoseok. She felt a bit giddy to bring in someone else.
The boy simply held a poker face, his eyes analyzing each spot.
"Anyway...Sit down.... I'll make some pancakes real quick." She said, tying the apron around her waist.
The guy quietly sat on the dining table, patiently waiting for her to serve food..
