1 month later."We're here." Hoseok stated, pulling over his car at the curb.
The girl looked out the window, to see horde of people, with which she was soon going to be a part of, bustling at the airport.
Both of them got out of his car, as Hoseok helped her with her luggage.
The girl smiled and thanked him.
"You still have some time for your flight right?" Hoseok asked, looking at his Rolex.
"Yeah...." She said, as she stood beside him, both staring at the nearby airport.
Hoseok sighed before looking at the ground.
"Will you ever come back?" He asked for the millionth time.
"Probably not." She stated, her answer being the same every time.
Hoseok looked away with a disturbed look, which she noticed.
"Hobi....I told you.... I'll find a better job at my parent's place and settle there. I feel comfortable in my hometown..." She explained, gazing at his sullen face.
The silence Hoseok gave her made her continue.
"And moreover...." She looked at the front of his car which held some green spray marks with a bitter smile.
"I don't think I can stay here anymore....." She confessed, her eyes darkening the more she looked at those marks.
For if she stayed any longer in that neighborhood with his addicting scent still lingering, she won't be able to go on anymore.
But,
She was alive until now. She made it alive through her severe depression, toxic thoughts, loneliness. Her month of torture.
She was alive even after becoming suicidal. The cuts still vivid under her sleeves.
And it was all thanks to Hoseok.
He was always there for her. Stopping her at all costs. Holding her together. Piece by piece.
He was her savior. Lending a hand to keep her from drowning, as she struggled with the gush of her toxic thoughts.
She was grateful for having him. And had made up her mind,
To move on from him.
Start a new life. Leaving everything behind.
She was ready to do it. And today was the day. To escape and explore.
Hoseok sighed frustratedly at the thought of this being their final moments.
He was never good with goodbyes. For he knew those byes are never good.
"I'm sorry...." She mumbled, biting her lip.
Hoseok wrapped his arms around her as an 'its okay'.
They stayed like that for a while. Enjoying each other's warmth while it lasted.
Until she patted his back, signalling him to pull away, obviously reluctant to do so, as a part of her hoped he wouldn't.
But Hoseok listened to her and pulled away, staring into her eyes, with his hands on her waist.
He could notice the usual sparkle in her eyes gone, now replaced my a sullen colour. Her puffy cheeks now slim, giving her a mature look. And her whimsical expression changed to a determined one.
She had changed. A lot.
But he didn't know why. What made her change like that.
Indeed Hoseok was always with her, but she never opened up to him.
