9:Missing

"Mhmmm... uarghh...." She groaned as she slowly came into her senses.

She looked around to realise she was nicely laid upon her bed, her bedsheets tucked in.

She slowly got up, a terrible headache making it's way to her.

She buried her head in her palms, as the memories filled in her mind.

"Yoongi....!" She whispered out, recalling him being taken away.

She quickly got onto her feet and dashed off to her kitchen, all her pain getting ignored.

"YOONGI..?" she screamed for him, opening the door to her backyard, but instead of the blinding light she saw, it was just the normal forest of weeds.

He wasn't there.

Ding dongggg~

She rang his doorbell more than necessary, as she found his door to be locked.

"Yoongi!!! Please open up!!!" She shouted, hoping he would hear.

"Uhm Miss? What do you think your doing?" A soft voice called out to her.

She turned her head to witness the landlady standing there.

"Ahh...I'm sorry I'm being noisy...but, just waiting for my friend to... Sorry.."
she fumbled with her words, before bowing down.

"But...Who allowed you to be here..?" The lady inquired back.

"Uh... pardon?" She raised a brow.

"I guess you didn't see the board or somethin..." The lady pointed behind her.

For Rent.

The signboard read, making the girl's face go pale.

"What the.. Wha...It's a prank...It's a misunderstanding..."
She started in disbelief, staring at the board.

"I think your mistaken, but this house's been for rent for over 5 years...." The lady confirmed.

"Have you seen the guy I used to always come with?"
She asked the cashier of the infamous grocery store.

The cashier tilted her head in confusion.

"The small, pale guy..Whose...My... Boyfriend?" She tried explaining.

"I know you as a regular customer, but I'm pretty sure...You visit here alone..."
The cashier replied.

"What the hell do you mean?! Your the one who gave us the couple discount!!" She insisted.

"Uhm...Sorry either your mistaken or I didn't notice..." The cashier pursed her lips.

"Hi, if you don't mind, can I get some information from your bank..?" She talked on phone.

"Depends." The banker replied.

"I just want you to confirm, if a loan of about $50,000 was taken by a man named, Min Yoongi..." She said.

"Uhh..I'll check..." He said, making her slightly wait.

"No ma'am, there's no Min Yoongi who took a loan like that.." he answered.

She stared at her dear phone, high hopes filling her mind.

This was her last chance. To prove all other people wrong. To the world who was playing with her today.

"Hello? Hobi?" She called out.

"Ayy... Sup?" He talked back.

"Hobi... Yoongi's missing...And everyone's acting like they forgot him... I'm..So worried...Worried sick...I..."
She whimpered on call.

"Calm down....And tell me...Who is it your talking about again..." He asked back.

Her voice hitched for a moment, as she felt her last hope crumbling away.

"Yoongi...My neighbor....I introduced you to him...." She tried more.

"Really? When? I guess I'm ageing or somethin hahaha..." He laughed out.

But she didn't have the strength to laugh back.

"Remember? Pizza? Party? Drinking....?" She didn't give up.

"Drinking...? I guess I'm really forgetful....And moreover, isn't your neighbouring house empty for the last few years?"
He inquired.

And that's when it became silent. There was nothing she could say anymore

"Hello? Hellooo? You there..?"

Hoseok kept talking, but her trembling hands couldn't keep hold of her phone to her ear.

She slowly sat on the couch beneath her, traumatised.

She didn't cry. Not that she didn't want to. But she couldn't.

It was just her lone self, and an miraculous pain infecting through her heart. 

What kind of sorcery was this? What sin did she do that she had to go through this?

She just wanted to be happy. But happiness is never easy. It takes in forever to find your happiness.

And just when she did...It just disappeared from this crooked world.
