Savannah's pov
After being in hospital for a few days i realised that I was missing the outside world but today was an amazing day, not because I was leaving hospital but because I was officially the foster daughter of Dan Spencer and Kerry Wyatt, last night we discussed if I wanted to change my name but I'm not ready to leave Dads last name behind however they did suggest having two surnames which I thought would be better because then I could be a Wilson and a Spencer so we are changing my name to Savannah Annabelle Wilson-Spencer, Ryan will still be in my name I just won't be using it at all the time.
"Well it's official Savannah-Ryan" Louise smiled as she entered the hospital room with Dan and Kerry and a pretty excited Amelia bouncing up behind them.
"We're officially sisters" I grinned happily carefully jumping out of bed pulling my drip over to Amelia and wrapped my arms around her while being careful not to knock my cannula out of my arm.
"We are sisters" Amelia shouted right in my ear which shocked me slightly.
"Right I know your excited Millie but I still would like to hear, I don't fancy being deafened by your shouts" I grinned as I playfully teased my new foster sister. Who playfully slapped me, I slapped Amelia back and we went back and forth slapping each other and laughing.
"Alright girls settle down" Kerry or should I say Mum stopped us.
"Sorry" we both laughed as we apologised to Kerry. It felt so surreal that I have a foster Mum and dad and a foster sister.
"Ill bring Savannah's belongings round this evening, I'll also organise a check up to make sure everything is going as it should be. If I find out anything about Savannah's biological family I'll be in touch right away" Louise explained, a confused look appeared on my face.
"Louise, I'm confused. My mum and dad are dead. My aunt Katie is also dead so what family could I have left; it was only ever me, Mum, dad and auntie Katie?" I asked while raising a eyebrow up at my social worker.
"Don't worry about it Savannah, just focus on getting yourself better" Louise smiled with the look as if she was hiding something for me but I decided not to push the subject any further, mostly because I had no energy to argue.
"Right I've got to pop into work, ask Cain if I can have this afternoon off but I will be back later on" Dan smiled and I nodded
"Can I stay here with Savv' please?" Amelia asked crossing her fingers making me bite my lip to stop me from laughing at her eagerness. She knew she would be allowed to stay since Kerry was going to be here.
"As long as you be good for Kerry and you both don't make her go grey by the time I get back" Dan joked with us
"We will just watch high school musical 2 and maybe 3" Amelia smiled
"And maybe sing along to the songs" I mumbled as I added on to Amelia's sentence.
"Alright, make sure you drink more Savv'" Dan encourages me and I nodded to show I was listening.
"See you later" I smiled. I was happy again, I officially had a foster family that loved me for me and weren't afraid to look after me, it was perfect.
