We arrive outside the building, but we're at the back to avoid attention. We all get out of the car and head inside. People immediately come up to us and usher is into a makeup room. I get makeup put on my face that won't infect the cut on my head, and they do my hair in just simple loose curls. By the time we're all prettied up, we have ten minutes before the interview goes live. Two stage hands run in and lead us three to the set. It's a long, curved couch covered in colorful pillows, with decorations around the room that make it look like an amazing, colorful, living room. Some people come up to us and adjust our hair and makeup, then they all scurry off and the interviewer comes up and sits down. I'm in between Chris and Anthony. I look at the director and he holds up three finger and slowly puts each one down, then points at us. I put on a smile as the red lights on the cameras light up and start blinking. "Hello, I'm Hayley List, and I'm joined here today by Anthony Mackie, Chris Evans, and (Y/n) (Y/l/n). How are you guys doing today?" She asks. Has she seen the news? How does she think I'm fucking doing? "We're okay." Chris answers with a small nod. Thank god he did, my answer wouldn't have been so nice. "So, first day of press tour before the premier at the end of the month. Are you guys excited?" Hayley asks. "Yes, we're very excited." Anthony answers. I just keep my gaze moving around so I don't look zoned out. "(Y/n), you're awfully quiet. You're normally a chatter box, what's going on?" Hayley asks me. Flashes of the events of today play in my mind. The screaming, the crying, the dead people all over the ground. The fire, the smoke, the sound of Sebastian flat-lining. Tears well up in my eyes and I look at Hayley, then at Anthony. He sees the tears and an expression of worry paints over his face. "I'm sorry. I can't do this." I say with a shake in my voice, then stand up and run off the set before anyone can stop me. I open the door as I start crying, then start running through the hallways to the front exit. I get outside and run down the steps. There are new people out here hoping to get a shot of us. They all see me and start coming towards me, so I start quickly walking away.
"(Y/n), what happened in there?"
"Can you tell us about the explosion."
"Is Sebastian okay?"
"Can you tell us how you're feeling right now?"
Eventually I can't take it anymore. "Get away from me! Back off!" I yell, then push through them and start running down the street. I don't know where I'm going. I know nothing about London, except that Tom and Harrison live here. Tom and Harrison! Tom isn't on press tour yet! I run as fast as my feet will carry me, running around corners and avoiding running into people. After 10 minutes of running I turn into an ally, lean on the wall and sink to the ground. I wrap my arms around my knees and pull my legs to my chest and start balling my eyes out, the events of today continuously playing in my head. The thought of Sebastian alone with the issue of his memory, it just makes me cry more. I don't know how long I sat there, maybe 30 minutes, and even though I'm not balling anymore, there are still tears running down my face. But I'm calm enough to make a call, so I pull out my phone and go into my contacts. I click on Tom and hold my phone to my ear as I sniffle. After a few rings Tom picks up.
"(Y/n), I saw the news, and the interview. Where are you?"
"I don't know. But can you come get me, you're the only one in London that I know and that won't tell anyone where I am."
"Of course, can you tell me what's around you?"
I stand up and peak my head out of the alley.
"I'm in an alleyway beside a little cafe called Bean there Cafe."
"I know where you are. I'm on my way."
"Thank you."
"Of course. I'll see you soon."
