Darkness

Shrouded in mystery
Concealing those not seen
Keeping all your secrets
It is the darkness
That truly knows

In the light
It is hard to hide
What I'm afraid to show
Who I'm terrified to be

In this blackness
Called night
Knowing my sins
Not condemning me

I belong in darkness
