Lyndsey's POV:
"Okay class!" Mrs. Kowner cheered. She was a plump old woman with glasses and an old fashion taste for clothing. She held pointer in one hand and an apple in the other. She placed the apple down and pointed to the music sheets. "What is this?"
Mrs. Kowner teaches choir. She starts everyday with reviews. The music sheet she pointed to had a half note on it. A kid in the back raised his hand and pointed to him, "Yes. Mr. Uhh..." she checked her list for his name, "Mr. Tanner."
He stood up and cleared his throat, "That's a note."
"What kind of note?"
"A musical note?" he shrugged.
Mrs. Kowner sighed, "Mr. Tanner if you don't know the full answer please don't raise your hand."
The kid sat back down and Mrs. K asked for someone else to answer the next kid got it right and she continued her review. She she got to a treble bar no one would answer. As you can tell most of these kids were forced to this class by their parents or the principal. How I know? Each time we are about to leave or start I hear the kids chat among them selves saying they hated how they were forced to do this. That's how I know.
No one answer so I decided to stand up, "That is a treble bar." I said looking the teacher in the eye. She smiled with pride and nodded.
"That's right. Mrs. uhh?"
"Queen. Lyndsey Queen." I informed her.
"Well Mrs. Queen. Do you know what this is?" she said pointing to an eight-th note. I was about to answer when the door slammed shut we all turned to see who it was.
"Late again Mr. Storm."
Jason walked closer to the group, walking as if he owned the place, "Sorry Mrs. K. I'm sure it'll happen again." he said winking at one of the girls and they all swooned.
I rolled my eyes. He looked to me, "I'm sorry. I don't know you."
"Shocker."
Before he could reply Mrs. K interrupted, "Mr. Storm go get changed into your uniform the rest of you line up."
He watched me as I started walking to the stage. I looked to him and gave him a warning glare. He turned away and walked to the changing rooms.
To be honest... it hurt when he said he didn't remember me. I mean it's only been a couple of years, and the only thing different about me was I got my braces off and I cut my hair but that's it. Taylen and Deen remembered me, why not him. (pic of Lyndsey on side)

The bell rang so Mrs. Kowner excused us. I went to the changing room and changed out of my uniform. I changed into a red t-shirt and black jeans. I took out my bun and let my hair lay on my shoulders. It was pretty straight since I straightened it this morning.
I walked out of the changing room and saw Jason. "Hey." I called. He turned away from the girl he was flirting with and looked at me. His face looked annoyed, "What?"
I walked closer to him so we were arms length away. "Jason right?"
He nodded, "Ya."
"Just wondering."
He rolled his eyes, "Such a waist of my time." he said turning away. I grabbed his arm and made he look back at me. "Let go of me."
"No. Until you hear what I want to say." he groaned than faced me fully. "I just have to say you haven't changed at all. Your still the jerk who's full of himself and doesn't care about anything. He thinks he owns the world and he gets whatever he wants. Well it's about time you wake up and see the world for what it is. I suggest you stop being a spoiled bitch and instead be the kind, heart-ed guy I know you are. Until than. Don't talk to me." I let go of his arm and realized what I just said was a mistake.
He walked to me and I walked backwards. I got stopped by the wall but he didn't stop. He had me pinned to the wall after calling him out. This couldn't be good. He put his arm on the wall. His face was filled with anger than it was replaced by realization, "Lyndsey?"
I nodded. Keeping my face stern even though my stomach was filled with butterflies. Jason opened his mouth to say something else but shook his head. He just got off me and walked away. He was talking to himself and his hands kept coming up to the air. He pushed the door with so much force I was afraid he might brake it. He walked outside and slammed the door behind him. I sighed and walked the other way.

When school was over I walked home. We didn't live that far away. I went into my house and straight to my room. I put my bag on the floor and plopped into my bed. I took out my phone and text Taylen.
To: Tays
Hey girl. I really need to talk to you. In person. Can you come over?" ~Lyn
It didn't take long 'till I got a reply.
From: Tays
Sure be there soon! ~Tays
I sighed with relief. She'll be here shortly than I can explode all my emotions. I turned on the TV to keep me occupied while I waited. I got another text and I checked it.
From: Jason
I was a little surprised that he still had my number. He hasn't text me since I moved. I opened it out of curiosity.
From: Jason
Sorry for being such a jerk today.
I replied.
It's fine. ~Lyn
I hope I wasn't that bad.
No you were bad. ~Lyn
Was I really that bad?
Yes. You were. ~Lyn
I'm sorry.
Your forgiven. ~Lyn
A knock came on my door.
I have to go. ~Lyn
See you around?
I wanted to text back something mean but I decided not to. I'll be nice. He's had enough of my mean side for today.
Ya. I guess. ~Lyn
