Jason's POV:

"So you found the girl yet?" Deen asked.

I shook my head, "But I will."

"When? I haven't even seen you looking."

I looked at him, "Trust me I'm looking. Your just not there when I am."

He rolled his eyes, "Well you should stop being late maybe you'll have better luck that way."

I smiled, "I'm not going to be late today," I pointed to the theater doors, "See. I'm actually," I looked at my watch, "I'm five minutes early."

Deen playfully punched my shoulder, 'Good luck." Before he could say anything Taylen walked by and swooped him away. I chuckle and roll my eyes. I was about to open the door when someone stopped me.

"Hey Jason."

I turn and smiled at Lyndsey, "Hey Lyns" She walked right past me and went into the theater room. She went and sat at one of the chairs and opened her music book. I roll my eyes and go to try and find Mrs. Kowner.

"Mrs. K! I have to ask you something." She turned from her papers and looked at me, "What is it Mr. Storm?"

She turned her back to me and went back to her papers. I coughed and continued, "Can I leave early today?"

She shrugged, "I don't see why not. Even if I say no I know you'll just do it anyway."

I smiled and nodded, "Thanks Mrs. K"

"Go get changed Mr. Storm."

I went to the changing rooms and changed in to my uniform. One more practice and I'll be aloud to wear my own clothes to class. I was about to go when I hear the girl's voice again.

"Afraid of what they might lose.

Might get scrapped or they might get bruised!

You can beg them what's the use...

That's why they call it a moment of truth! Yeah.

I'll get it if you need it. I'll search if you don't see it!

You thirsty I'll be rain, you get hurt I'll take your pain."

I listened a little more than went out. I searched around. A few of the girls were here. Lyndsey wasn't one of them. I looked around a bit more when I was told to take a seat. I sat down, Mrs. K talked for a bit than called us up to sing. I tried to listen for the voice during our voice exercises but with all the noise it was hard to pick out one voice.

 Later That Day

Lyndsey's POV:

"Did you hear what Deen told me?" Taylen asked over the phone. I was laying in bed at home. As soon as I got home Taylen called me.

 "No..."

"Oh... Well he said Jason is going crazy trying to find this once certain girl."

I rolled my eyes, "Shocker." I said sarcastically.

"This one is different! He's looking for the owner of a certain voice."

"Hmm... This is still nothing new."

I heard Tays sigh, "Don't you see! He's looking for the girl who is always singing in the choir changing rooms! What other girls actually sing at choir."

I rolled my eyes again, "You think its me?"

"Yep!"

"Haha very funny! It's not me."

"What? Of course its you!"

"No its not Taylen. I don't sing in the changing rooms."

It went silent for a second, "But... but..."

"Tays why do you want it to be me? And why don you think its me?"

She sighed, "I just want you and Jason to be together like the old days."

I let out a little bit of a laugh but held back the rest, "What do you mean? We were never together!"

"Yes you were. I mean not like you two, but your hearts, your souls. It was obvious you two wanted each other. He even asked you out! And I know you liked him. It was completely obvious."

"Taylen. Think about this. You are talking about souls and hearts. You sound crazy."

She sighed again, "Whatever Lyndsey! I think its you! You might not know it, but he's listening to you even though you don't know it!" she hung up and I put my phone down. I sighed. It's not me.
