Well, I'm bored and I can't sleep right now so I think I'll just post another chapter. Hows that? YAY!

(Disclaimer: Pictures are not mine. I do not own naruto or any of the other naruto characters. I only own Dalila and any other OC characters that may come into the story. Enjoy!!)

I feel something in the air as I walk down a deserted alley. I had gotten bored and decided to go back to the hotel. I stop suddenly whenever I hear an all too familiar voice from around the corner. “Let’s go.”  Gaara’s deep voice enters my ears. “Wait!” I yell at them as I run past the group of people in between my team and myself. “What are you doing?” Kankuro asks. “I got bored and decided to head back to the hotel. Now that I think about it though, I kind of forgot where it is.” I explain while scratching the back of my neck, embarrassed.

I look over at Gaara and notice the ghost of a smile on his lips. “Let’s go.” He repeats and they turn around and begin walking. I follow them. “Hold it!” I turn around and see that it was the pink haired girl. Temari stops and turns around, “What is it?” Pinky steps forward and speaks up again. “Judging from your headbands, your ninja from the village hidden in the sand, right? Without question, the land of fire and wind are allied nations. But the arbitrary coming and going of shinobi is supposed to be prohibited by the treaty. State your purpose.” I roll my eyes as the others turn around to face them. “So this is what they mean by the darkest place being under the candlestick. Don’t you know anything about it?” Temari replies, holding up her permit thingy. “My permit! As you say, we are sand village genin from the land of wind. We came to this village to take the chunin exams.”

The blonde haired boy across from us immediately looks confused. I hear him mutter, “Chunin exams?” I roll my eyes but then look at his other teammates. One of them, a pink haired girl looks as confused as the blonde. The other teammate has dark hair that is shaped like a duck’s butt. At this thought, I immediately start to chuckle a little. This causes everyone to look at me. I just wave at them and give them a close-eyed smile.

“Hey, you there, what’s your name?” ducky asks. “Huh? M-Me?” Temari asks, blushing slightly. I sigh and look at her with pitied eyes. She just looks away, still blushing. “No. The guard next to you and the other girl.” Ducky replies. I take this as my chance to speak. “Gaara’s name is Sabaku no Gaara, and I will not tell you my name, because you are not a worthy peasant!” I yell, making everyone sweatdrop.

I just give them a closed-eye smile and look at Gaara, who is staring at ducky. “I am also interested in you, as well. What is your name?” Gaara asks the ducky. “Uchiha, Uchiha Sasuke.” Gaara nods his head and then looks at me. “Well then, let’s go!” I say fist bumping the air. He nods as well and we begin to turn around whenever the blonde guy shouts, “Hey, don’t you want to know my name?” Gaara looks at him, unimpressed. “Not interested.” Then he turns around and we jump away into the setting sun. Just kidding, we head back to the hotel.

When we reach the hotel room, I can see Baki-sensei standing impatiently in front of the window. Well crap. I am in so much trouble. I slow down as we enter the hotel room. Baki-sensei turns to us and glares. Well, more like glares at me. “Why hello Baki-sensei. How was the trip to the Hokage’s office?” I ask with an innocent tone to my voice. “I thought I told you to stay out of trouble?!” He asks/yells at me. I give him an innocent smile, “But, well, I was bored.” He just takes a deep breath and faces the sand siblings. “Alright, there are two beds and a couch. Figure out the sleeping arrangements on your own. I’ll be in the room across from here if you need me.” He says before he slips out of the room.

“Well, it’s obvious. Dalila and Gaara on one bed. And Kankuro on the couch. I’ll take the other bed.” Temari declares. We all no our heads in agreement. That is until it registers in Kankuro’s brain that he’ll be sleeping on the couch. Temari then looks at me expectantly. “What?” I ask confused. “What did you do to Baki Sensei?” I chuckle nervously and look out the window. “You know it’s getting late, and I’m really tired so I think I’ll just go change into my pajamas.” I saw, slowly edging my way towards the bathroom. “Not so fast. Explain, now.” I sigh before facing her completely. I also saw Kankuro and Gaara looking at me with interest.

“Well, I may or may not have followed Baki sensei throughout the town, tripping him every couple of minutes. Hence why I asks about his ‘trip’.” They start laughing. I don’t see why though. It’s not all that funny. Just one of my minor pranks. I shrug my shoulders and head over to the bag that Baki sensei left with our extra clothing and our money. I begin taking out my pajamas and head into the bathroom to change. When I'm done, I walk out and plop down onto the bed that Gaara and I will be sharing. Gaara takes off his gourd and lies down next to me. I wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his chest. In return, he wraps his arms around myself and holds me tight to his body, as if I were a dream. I slowly drift off to the rhythmic sound of Gaara's heart. It slows to a steady pace as he too falls asleep. "Goodnight Gaara." I whisper before I completely drift off into the land of flying marshmallows and talking llamas.
