“Alright, it’s time to begin. I am Ibiki Morino, your proctor, and from this moment, your worst enemy.” “First, you candidates from the village hidden in the sound, knock it off, who told you, you could fight? You want to be failed before we’ve even begun?” “Is it just me or do you think him and Baki-sensei would get along great?” I ask my teammates in a whispered tone. They give out quiet chuckles, except for Gaara who, well, just stays emotionless, like Gaara usually does.

“Sorry. It’s our first time. Guess we were a little jumpy.” The porcupine looking sound ninja replies. Ibiki smirks and turns to the rest of us. “I’ll say this once. Listen; there will be no combat between candidates so no attacking each other without the permission of your proctor. And even then, the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited. Anyone who even thinks of messing with me will be immediately disqualified. Got it?” “Yup, I think him and Baki-sensei would get along perfectly.” I say. Porcupine’s teammate smirks and says, “No fatal force? That’s no fun.” “I have to agree with him on that one. For some reason, fatal force is looking pretty good to me.” I say out loud, to where everyone in the room could hear me. The chunin examining us just smirk.

“Now if we’re ready, well proceed to the first stage of the chunin exam. Hand over your paperwork, and in return you’ll each be given a number. This number determines where you will sit. We’ll start the written test once you’re all seated.” Then, all of a sudden, the blond boy from ducky’s team starts freaking out. My team and I head up to the chunin people and turn in our paperwork. The guy hands us a piece of paper and everyone else disperses. I look down at my paper and see the number 75 on it. I head to the back and search until I come up with the seat matching 75. I sit down and wait for the test to begin.

“Everyone eyes front. There are a few rules you need to be aware of. And I won’t answer any questions so you better listen the first time around. Alright rule number one is this…” and here I go again with my drifting off. Hey, it’s not my fault. They’re the ones who stuck me next to the window. I’m about to tune back in to what the Ibiki guy has to say whenever I see the birds from earlier in the tree outside. So, instead of listening, I begin watching the birds intensely.

Then, all of a sudden the chunin guys come and sit on the chairs against the walls. I simply smile and wave at them. They seemed a bit shocked but wave back at me. Then, out of nowhere, Ibiki shouts “BEGIN!” huh? Begin what. I look around and see everyone answering their tests, or, well, trying to. I flip my paper over and look at the questions before slamming my head against the desk. There is no way on earth that I know these answers. This means I have to cheat. So, I close my eyes and take a deep breath, then, I let my bangs fall over my left eye. After they fall, I slowly open my eyes once again. They look the same as before, except for my left eye. It looks somewhat like the legendary rinnegan, but instead of being purple, it’s blue. And slowly, my blue chakra begins leaking out, almost as if my eye were on fire (picture).

I look around the room before my eyes settle on someone who is easily writing down the answers. I focus my eyes onto them. I slowly sneak into their mind and memorize all of the answers. I release my dojutsu and begin writing down the answers. Once I’m finished, I look up and see that Gaara is using his sand eye to copy down someone’s paper, and Kankuro is no where in sight. I have no clue what Temari is doing because she is on the other side of the room.
