"Shortie Like Mine" is by, of-course, Bow wow feat. Chris brown. One of my favorite old songs.

"I got all this love inside of me, and all I want to do is give it to her." - Chris Brown.
I pulled up into the driveway. It has aged quite a bit since my days in high school. I stepped out my Dodge Chrysler 300 car and closed the door right behind me. I pressed the lock button and a ‘chirp’ confirmed to me that my car was locked. I walked through the grass up to the front door.
On my third knock the door flew open and as the teenaged girl stepped into the doorway, she had the slyest smile on her lips.
Against my better judgment I wondered to myself if this was the same little Tess I last saw about a year and a half ago. “Tess?” I questioned with a furrow of my eyebrows.
She smiled hugely and her eyes drifted over my body before she opened her mouth. “No, but who are you?” she flirted.
The corners of my mouth turned into a frown and then the look of disgust spread across my face. “Too old for you, now where is my little sister.” I stepped past her and walked into my mom’s house. “You’re not here by yourself are you?” I asked when I twisted my body around to see the teenage girl who was now checking out my backside.
“No, Tess is in the kitchen.” She nodded her head in the direction of the kitchen and my eyes squinting at her as her behavior was starting to irritate me.
“Tess!?!?” I yelled. She came running from out of the kitchen right before I could turn completely around to see her; she was jumping in my arms.
“Trey!!” She shrieked.
I was taking back by her recent action and was trying to balance myself as a smile appeared on my face. She flung her arms around my neck and gave a tight squeeze. I laughed and hugged back before letting her down to her feet.
“Dang girl, you gained some weight? I almost fell backwards on my as-“
“Trey, don’t you finish that!” My mother interrupted as she came from out the kitchen. She walked up to me with a big black spoon in one hand and another one reached out to me. She pulled me in for a hug as she left out a hefty laugh. “Hey baby.”
“Hey, Ma.” I laughed back at the fact that she’s not that fond of the choice of words I say sometimes, especially around my little sister. I pulled out of the hug and walked my mom over to the side as my eyes wonder off to my little sister as she approached that girl. “Ma, why are you letting Tess hang out with that girl.”
She laughed at my concern. “Boy, relax, Tess and Elise have been friends since before you left for college. I got my eyes on them don’t worry.” She patted me on the back before returning to the kitchen. My senses must have kicked in because I was inhaling the smell of fried chicken, bake beans, cornbread and macaroni that filled the air.
“Trey, where’s Abby?” My little sister was back in my face and her friend Elise was besides her looking a little too eager. “Is she coming over here?”
“No, um I’m about to go see if she’s at CT (Coffee Table) and we might be back over here, but probably not tonight though.”
“Oh, well tell her that Bren- I mean to text me… later, when she’s not busy.” She smiled at the last little bit that left her mouth.
