I woke up to the sun beating down on me. I opened my eyes and saw Ricky. He was so HOT, as in hot hot. And the term goes two ways, he's warm and he's hot! I tried to move but I realized we were in a weird position. We were "spooning" each other. Even though it was awkward, I loved how he wrapped his arms around me, and how peaceful he looked, which was diffferent to his smirk. I just stared at his face cuz it was just so dang handsome.
"Take a picture, it lasts longer." He murmered as he smirked and opened his eyes. I turned away quickly and even though he was behind me I could still see his cute little smirk clearly. Wait, did i just call him cute? Well, actually I called his smirk cute. But I still thought of him as cute. Wait, that's confusing me so much more.
"I was simply checking to see if you were okay." I lied, and I was a pretty bad liar, obviously. Who checks to see if he's okay when he was just sleeping? I knew he knew I was lying and I think he let me go. I was about to get off the bed and get ready when he pulled me closer to him.
"Don't go yet, please stay for awhile." he murmered softly, closing his eyes and nuzzling his head on my shoulder.
"I-I ... B-but... F-fine" I stammered out. I was practically a tomato by now. I wanted it to make it look like I didn't enjoy it but I actually wanted to be in the same position, maybe even more than him.
We just lay there in complete peace. I was starting to doze off until he broke the comforting silence.
"Hey, how come I haven't seen your dad yet? " He suddenly asked. Then he added. " I mean, I'm just a bit curious, since I only saw your mom. And your mom kinda didn't say anything about your dad. Usually, moms relate mostly everything to their husbands."
I froze. Feeling me tense up against him, he opened his eyes and squeezed me a bit. He opened his mouth to say something before I flicked my hand, gesturing for him to let me reply to his question. He reluctantly closed his mouth.
"He passed away when I was seven..." I muttered, feeling tears threatening to fall from my eyes.
His eyes widened, and he wrapped his arms, pulling me closer to him. "I'm really sorry!"
"It's okay. You just wanted to know." I sniffed. I tried to blink my tears away and force a small smile to let him think I'm alright, but failing when he saw my a lone tear escape.
Suddenly, the warmth disappeared. He then got out of bed, went across the room, and got a paper bag. He walked back, sat on the bed ( DANG! HE WAS SOO HOT!) and handed it to me. I looked at him for a minute, confused as to why he would get a bag at a time like this. I caustiously pulled the bag towards me and looked inside.
I gasped. "Omg! It's soo pretty!!!!" I held out the cute flower printed dress. It was a tube style dress and inside were also a pair of high heels. I loved them!
"THANK YOU!!!" I yelled as I engulfed him in a hug, pushing him over.
"WIll you wear it on our last day and our journey home?" He asked, laughing as he also wrapped his arms around.
"YES!!!" I shouted, and I think the whole building could have heard it, as I rushed off to get ready, listening to his endearing, sweet laugh.
